Campout at Canal Park Saturday, June 26 and July 17, 2010

Schedule of Events

The Akron Aeros are committed to making Campout at Canal Park 2010 a fun and unique experience for all scouts and scout leaders again this year. In order for this night to be safe, we must ask that you read the Tentative Schedule below and the Rules and Regulations on the following page very carefully. These rules and regulations are required in order to ensure the preservation of the playing surface at Canal Park and, more importantly, the safety of all participants.

The schedule and rules must be followed completely - no exceptions.

Anyone failing to abide by these rules will be removed from Canal Park immediately - no exceptions.

• For 2010, the pre-game scout parade will be held prior to the August 27th game.

Immediately following the game (average game time: 3 hours): All campers MUST exit Canal Park immediately following the final out of the game, retrieve their camping equipment from their vehicles, then re-enter Canal Park through Gate A (Main Street, across from Buchtel Ave) and proceed to the concourse area behind Section 114 and await direction from Aeros Staff. Absolutely no camping equipment will be allowed in Canal Park before the end of the game.

Canal Park does not have a parking lot or parking area. Those who drive to the game must plan on leaving their vehicles overnight. The Akron Aeros are not responsible for the safety of any vehicles. Please park accordingly.

Campers will have 45 minutes after the final out of the game to retrieve their equipment from their car and re-enter Canal Park. Within 60 minutes of the conclusion of the game all gates will be locked in order to ensure the safety of participants and the preservation of the facilities. All fans will be asked to exit Canal Park after the game. We will not allow re-entry until all fans have left the stadium. Please make sure everyone in your group exits the stadium to avoid delaying re-entry for all campers.

All participating campers will be given wristbands, which will allow them onto the outfield to set up camping equipment. Absolutely no one will be allowed on the outfield without a wristband. Wristbands will be provided with game tickets. No Campout tickets or wristbands will be sold on the day ofthe game. Activities (Home Run Contest, Movie, etc.) will begin once campers have their equipment set up.

All campers must exit Canal Park no later than 7:30am the next morning (Sunday, June 27 and July 18). A "Wake-Up Call" will ensure that all campers are awake in time to exit by 8:00am. Please make sure you clean up your camping area. Do NOT leave any trash on the field! Trash cans will be placed on the field to assist you in cleaning up your areas.
