Per OBP’s request are the contingency (additional) locations for vehicle fence. These should be selfexplanatory but give a shout if needed. Thanks,

Background: Tucson Sector Border Patrol has been tasked by the Office of Border Patrol to identify any additional areas that are required for fencing to support Sector Operations. Tucson Sector will achieve its Primary Infrastructure needs through the following efforts; PF-70, PF-225, VF-300, and Legacy Fence Construction. The areas that are identified should be considered for construction of Rail on Post Barrier (VF-1) These areas are additions to existing Primary Fence. This area has been assessed, and it is deployed in accordance with the National Strategy. The length of the urban area of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, terrain constraints and operational need were key factors in identifying these sites. Primary Fence is identified as per the National Strategy. Justification for Change As a result of continuing to refine the program schedule it has been found necessary to determine whether or not Tucson Sector had additional miles that would operationally be deemed sound for Vehicle Fence. As a result of this analysis the following projects are being recommended as contingency miles for VF300. Description of Requested Change DV-6 2.33 Miles
