teik is applied when more than one person is praying. When only one person is praying, eik is used. nâko, in some dialects, is replaced with noko. tabu is sometimes replaced with oras, which has the same meaning. es is replaced with et in different dialects.

The above prayers, except Onen Oras He Tasaitan Ume, Hai Mîlatan Kit, Kninô, and Onen Oras He Ttam Teu Internet, have been adopted and alphabetically modified (to create a phonetic spelling) from Katekismus In Nesan, the Catholic catechism widely used in Dawan-speaking communities (mostly) in the old days. It was the catechism from which thousands of people (including myself) were taught for the preparation of first Communion and Confirmation.
