Death of Care Hope lingers on.

Behind the frozen mask of sadness and decay, Lies neither hope, nor salve nor soul, nor yet eternity, For there s nothing there that has a life, it s all been lived and gone, No pity needed, the soul has furthered on.

You see a fetid kernel left, that once was full of joy, Now deep within the ancient husk, all light has withered, gone to driest dust, Yet there s still hope for hope is what we have, it never dies, For some good tidings, for others only lies.

God seek ye those that stream the light, Those that filled with love do strut their hopes and fears, That care nothing for tomorrow s woes, today s are yet enough, That takes the worries and the stress, and blow away with gentle puff.
