We hope you are enjoying Ella's Hope and that the information here helps you
get the most from the experience.

Introduction

High in the mountains of Estis an ancient stone marks a portal between


mortals and angels. The angels have long since stopped interfering in the
matters of the world yet there are a group of select few who watch over the
land below as powerful Guardians.

Each year the most promising individuals from across the lands are invited to
take part in the Trials - their prize is to become a Candidate for Guardianship,
to train amongst the clouds for a chance to join the elite ones.

Yet our story is not focused on those specially invited ones - instead meet Ella,
a girl with a mysterious past having been found on the mountainside in a
storm just under a year ago and now working as a maid in the local Inn.
Characters

Ella

There is something a little different about Ella. Nothing is known


of her past which she seems to keep hidden away. She is certainly a hard
working girl, forever being bossed around by her employer at the Angel Gate
Inn. There is also the not so small matter of a mysterious force she seems to
contain, it is bound to draw attention to her sooner or later!

Cal

Cal works in the Angel Gate Store alongside his parents and
younger brother. He is a skilled hunter and has won several awards for his
ability. He's also very down to earth and maybe an unlikely hero. Cal loves his
home but realises to get what he wants maybe he has to make an extra
special effort.

Leah

Even from first glance you can tell there is something


impressive about Leah – or maybe that's just because of the massive staff
she's carrying. She is full of magical power, a member of the Eiferian race, and
certainly a very strong and loyal friend.

Areth
She may be smaller than most and not much of a threat at first glance but
don't be deceived by this fairy's appearance. Areth is a highly determined,
loyal and energetic companion. It takes a lot of energy to keep her going but
don't worry – a little bit of sugar to give her a rush will certainly bring out her
best.

Marcus

A strong swordsman and true team player, Marcus is always


there when needed. He is a capable leader too, never scared to make decisions
or urge on those around him when needed. Steadfast and level headed he will
fight for those he knows as friends and is determined in all he does.
Dayna

Don't let the pink hair deceive you! This girl is a fighter
brimming with confidence. Some would say maybe a bit too much confidence!
Always straight to the point, often impatient and ready for any fight that
comes her way there is no way you'll ever convince Dayna that she is anything
other than the best.

Sakari

Sakari is older than the others. She has used this time time well
to learn and understand nature and the powers that surround her. A complex
person and a bit of a dreamer, she will always be there for her friends but it
may take a bit of reaction time for her to realise when she is needed!
Persistent in her own tranquil, thoughtful and day-dreamy way.

Some General Playing Tips!

Game Modes

At the beginning of the game you can select which mode you wish to play:

Story: Very few and easy fights (only those that matter for the tale to unfold)
so you can wander and explore without being faced by monsters.

Easy: For those who are new to this type of game or wish to have a relaxed
gaming experience

Normal: The game as intended with some difficult fights and normal monsters.

Hard: For experienced players only! Expect some very challenging battles.

There is also a brief tutorial within the game that may help if you have not
tried this type of game before.

Fighting
In each area you will find monsters that you only have to fight once as well as
a few that keep returning. In order to be at the right level to progress in the
game it is highly recommended that you do face all of them so your players
are at optimum level as you progress. Each time you fight you gain experience
– once you have enough you will go up a level which means your player get
more health and skill points.

Items

You can buy and find items such as herbs and potions – these can help refill
your health and magic powers or even bring back other party members when
they are exhausted.

Equipment

You can buy equipment from shops, find it in chests or receive things as
rewards at times. You will find that some equipment protects from types of
attack (for example fire), whereas others using an element to attack with. If
you are even really struggling against an enemy changing equipment to make
sure you have the optimum selected for their type of attack can really be
beneficial.

Gold

You need to have gold to be able to buy healing items, equipment and
weapons amongst other things. You can get gold by finding it on the ground,
by opening chests that you see and most importantly by fighting monsters.
Gold does not exist in massive quantities in this game so you need to be wise
when you spend it! If you ever get stuck then there are always some monsters
you can go and re-fight to help gather some more or you can sell any surplus
items you have to a shop keeper.

Succeeding

To get the best outcome in this game you have to do well in a few areas.

Firstly, you must help as many people as you can, these side quests may not
always be obvious! The main story walk through that follows in this guide gives
you details of the first hidden side quests so that you get the idea but it does
not give you subsequent ones. These are things happening separately to
everything else and to find them just make sure you talk to everyone and
explore thoroughly.

Secondly, you will have to sit an exam level at one part of the game. Your
score here will affect the final result so follow instructions carefully and try and
get the best you can.
Finally, you will find a character in the game who will tell you about sky orbs.
These are hidden blue orbs that are throughout the game. To get the best
score at the end you must have found plenty of these!

Walkthrough

First you need to select the mode you wish to play and whether you would like
to play the tutorial. If you aren't used to playing this type of game it is
recommended that you do play through the short introductory instructions.

Angel Gate

You join Ella in the basement of the inn at Angel Gate. Ernestine is calling for
her so head up to the ground floor and talk to her. You will be told to go and
pick up a parcel from the village shop. It is up to you whether you go straight
there or explore and talk to a few people first. Keep an eye out for treasure
chests and items hidden in places like barrels. The shop is in the south west
corner of the village, once you have the parcel from Cal you can return to the
inn and talk again to Ernestine. She will now give you a letter which is to be
delivered to a guest on the first floor.

After this is done you can either explore some more and see who is staying at
the inn or you can go and meet Cal. He is waiting at a pool which is outside of
the village – first head down the stairs to the south and then head west, there
is a sign pointing the way after that.
You will be returned to the inn for the following morning and on going upstairs
you will see a basket and some instructions to go and get eggs from Maud. You
need to head the same way as you did for Cal but this time keep going west.
On getting the eggs you return back along to the village but you will find you
have a fight ahead of you. Go forward to face the monster and then follow the
conversation that occurs afterwards.

You now need to head to the trial clearing. This time you need to head through
the village to the north and follow the path through the mountains. You will
come to a sign telling you it is south to the trial clearing or west to the angel
stone. You may find it worthwhile gong to the angel stone now and touching it!
You can, however, just decide to enter the trial – go into the clearing and
speak to the Guardian standing at the gateway.
You now have a choice between four possible trials, you can pick any you like.
If you succeed you then you need to talk to the Guardian again and if she
approves you then it is up to you whether to head to the Angel Stone now or
explore some more.

On touching the Angel Stone you will be transported, you next get to play once
you are in your new lodgings!

The Clouds of Estis


It is time to explore your new home. You can wander and talk but before you
can progress to the next part of the game you must have found and spoken to
the other six playable characters.

It is also worth entering the big building which houses the library and other
rooms, on the ground floor you will find Guardian Jo in a room and she will tell
you all about Sky Orbs. How many of these you find can have an effect on the
outcome of the game so you do need to watch out for them and they can be
quite well hidden. To find them explore everywhere, check under trees and if
you have Areth in your party check on little caves when you see them!

Once you have done that then you can talk to Guardian Arden, the silver
haired Guardian who normally stands near to a shelter on the map east of
Ella's lodgings.

Guardian Arden will then transport you to your first quest.


A Castle Wedding

On arriving you must first talk to the Guardian who is supervising you. Then
you need to find and talk to the Princess who has called you, she is on the
second floor. She will tell you that there is a thief at large and she needs your
help. If you return to the entrance again you will find that the butler also now
has a job for you. After speaking to him head to the guard standing at the
stairs down to the east of the castle (ground floor). He will let you past and
into the treasury. You need to kill all the monsters in this area to progress.

Once this area is cleared return to the entrance, the Prince has now arrived
and you should talk to him then return to your quest of finding the thief. If you
head to the stairs down to the west of the castle, and follow them down you
will find a guard has been knocked out. You can now go and enter the floor
below.

To the far end of the room there are some barrels. One of them will help you
on to the next place!

Once in the tunnels head east and enter a cave where there is a young girl.
Talk to her and then you need to go and find her brother. He is now hiding in
the castle … he is somewhere on the top floor (right wing)! After finding him
return to the princess. She will now ask you to help find a maid who has gone
missing.

To find her head back to the cave where you found Evie and now head outside.
You have to head to the west, as far as you can. You will find huts with bandits
in – before you enter however there is a shop keeper close by (to the south)
and it may be worth buying some healing items as you have a fight ahead.

Once you are ready enter the right hand door, you need to fight the person
standing at the back of room to get the key for the left hand building. Make
sure to use your most powerful skills against the series of bosses.
Once you enter this you will find the maid...and a different Prince! If you need
you can rest here before heading back.

On the way back you will encounter the false Prince and have to fight him.
He is tough as he is able to attack you with large damaging spells. An
important hint though is that he won't be able to cast his spells more than a
fourth time, so use it at your advantage!

Once he is gone head back through the caves – the maid and the real Prince
will leave you to return to the castle. You need to head to talk to the Princess
one more time at which point you are free to talk to the Guardian in the
entrance hall and leave whenever you wish!

Hints:
In each level there is the compulsory game play (described here) and extras
you can do! This walkthrough doesn't cover most of the optional extras – you
have to hunt them out! In order to get the best result in the ending you have
to have helped as many people as you can so be aware that talking and
helping can alter your ending!

In this level for example if you now talk to the maid again and the prince you
will find that one has lost a ribbon and one has lost the wedding ring! So you
can choose to leave now or you can help them. Since this is the first level to
help you along you should look outside for the ribbon back near the huts in
Murkwell woods and you need to explore the caverns to find the ring. After
finding the items you must return to the people who set the quests in order for
them to thank you – this earns you quest points which alter your final score!

Once you return to the Guardian you are back in the clouds. To progress to the
next part you need to find Leah, she is on the cloud to the west of your
lodgings.

Ella's Trial

Once Leah has joined you you need to head inside and go into the exam room
to the left. Guardian Heller will be waiting to talk to you.

While he makes his preparations to need to head to the recovery section which
is near Cal and Areth's lodgings. You'll find there is a Guardian who sells herbs
there and at this point it would be worth stocking up as you have a challenge
ahead of you. Notably make sure to purchase magic healing items as you have
in Ella and Leah two great spellcasters.
Once you are ready head back to the exam room and Guardian Heller will
transport you to the trial venue. You need to head through this level fighting
the things you come across until you reach Guardian Heller again at the end.
The monsters are all based on the fears of either Ella or Leah. Skeletons are
weak to fire and the ??? enemy can be attacked by thunder based spells.

Once you reach the end you will be transported back to the exam room and
you will be told to go and rest so head back to your lodging and sleep.

The following morning a few of the candidates have already been sent out on a
quest so when you talk to Guardian Arden at her shelter she will offer to send
you off on a new quest with the remaining group.

The Melting Village

The Guardian watching you will tell you the mayor of the village needs to
speak to you, head north and find him at the top of the cave village.
You now need to find the Oracle, she is in a cave you can find following the
path westwards out of the village. We recommend you first go take the
weapon (path 1) then only head to the Oracle (path 2). The weapon equipped
to Dayna will help you a lot against the wolves. Ella's Storm Arrow is efficient
against wolves and VERY efficient against golems, so make sure to purchase a
lot of magic healing items.
On talking to her return to the mayor who will give you access to his melting
house to the east. Once in there head over the the hole in the ground. When
ready you can decide to jump down but make sure you stock up on any items
you might need first.

First head up to the north then slightly east. You will find a dwarf who will tell
you he can't let you pass because of a dragon inside the next cave. To get past
you will need to get permission from his chief, the entrance to the HQ is south
from where you are. Enter and talk to the dwarf, he will give you a coin that
will allow you past the guard.
Once in the dragon cave you need to approach the dragon. You then need to
head off on a hunt for the important missing gem. There is a second tribe of
dwarves in the far west section of the caves. Retrieve the gem form them and
bring it back to the dragon. The way is now cleared and the upper caves have
been saved! You still need to get back though.

Head outside and talk to the man who is standing in the snow. He will tell you
he has lost three necklaces and also may just about remember that he has
also lost his son! You need to head to the next map to the west and then head
north. You will find the necklaces on the ground as you go and you will come
across Cethlin standing guarding a cave. You need to defeat him to get to the
missing boy. He is weak to Thunder and can be put to sleep with fair chances.
He can also be paralysed with a bit smaller chances.
Return the boy to his father. You can now re-enter the frozen Eirwen caves
through the entrance on the west map to the south.
On getting back talk to the mayor again after which you are free to return to
the Guardian and choose to go back to the clouds.

When back in your lodgings its time to head back onto the clouds, this time
head to the building with the library and find Areth, Dayna and Leah waiting
with some news for you. You now need to pass it on to Cal and Marcus, you
can find them both at Cal's lodgings. After this it is quest time once again so
talk to Guardian Arden and it's onto a new place for you.

The Wild Wood

You arrive and need to speak to the tradesman who is just south of the first
map. Once you have done this there are a couple of ways you can proceed but
for the moment head very slightly east and then north straight away. Keep
heading north until you come across Humphrey guarding his bridge.
After talking to him you need to find him something to eat – there are several
possible items but only one he will accept. The other items may however help
further in the game so, as always, it is worth talking to everyone and checking
everywhere! To proceed head south back to the map where the tradesman is
but this time head as far west as you can. You will find a guarded hill fort but
for now they won't let you enter, not until you bring back a comrade who is
stranded in the woods. Now head east, there are two things you need to do
over this way, firstly you will come across an angry chicken guarding a nest –
fight it and you can take it's egg. Then continue east until you find the missing
comrade. Now head back to the hill fort. Once inside head over the the
cauldron and you will be able to swap the eggs for some rather repulsive
looking stew. Take this to Humphrey and he will gobble it up. Now you can get
across the bridge.
Head north and follow the path around until you come to the man on the
ground. Once you have been up to him and talked you should then enter his
cottage.
If you examine the boxes to the left as you enter and then the diary left on the
table you will find the answer to the problem. A potion he has brewed has gone
wrong and tainted the area. Your first priority is to revive him. To do this you
need to find five blue flowers scattered amongst the woodland – the flowers
are easy to find if you just explore all the parts of the forest one by one.
Once you have them all head back to the man, he will be revived and you will
talk to him in his house. You now need to wait for night, when ready you can
sleep in the bed to the right inside the house.
When you wake up it is dark. Head outside and following the path around you
will see a portal has opened. Go up to it and you will be transported to Teyana.

Head north and then east at the first chance, keep going across until you see
another portal – this leads into the Fairy Village. You need to find and talk to
the waterfall fairy who will teach one of your players a spell.
GO BACK OUT OF THE PORTAL AND ONCE YOU HAVE CROSSED BACK TO THE WET YOU NEED TO
KEEP HEADING NORTH TO THE VERY TOP OF THE HILL.
YOU WILL SEE A RAISED SPOT WHERE YOUR CHARACTER WHO LEARNT THE SPELL WILL CAST IT
TO MAKE THE WATERS SURGE. YOU CAN NOW RETURN BACK TO THE MAN'S COTTAGE AND SLEEP
AGAIN WHEN YOU ARE READY. IN THE MORNING THE WOOD IS BACK TO NORMAL. ONLY NORMAL
MONSTERS NOW REMAIN. YOU CAN HEAD EXPLORE A BIT OR HEAD BACK AND TALK TO THE
TRADESMAN WHO IS HAPPY AGAIN. NOW TALK TO THE GUARDIAN. YOU WILL BE GIVEN A
CHOICE, TO STAY AND HELP FIND SOME LOST CHILDREN OR TO RETURN TO THE CLOUDS.

IF YOU RETURN AT THIS POINT JUST SKIP THE NEXT PARAGRAPH.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO HELP THE CHILDREN HEAD WEST AND ENTER THE BIG HOUSE, TALK TO THE
WOMAN AND THEN HEAD BACK TO THE HILL FORT. THIS TIME YOU NEED TO FIGHT. ONCE DONE
HEAD UP THE STAIRS AND CONFRONT THE CHIEF. WHEN THE FORT IS CLEAR THE CHILDREN
WILL RETURN WITH YOU TO THEIR GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE AND YOU CAN HEAD BACK TO THE
CLOUDS ONCE YOU REACH YOUR GUARDIAN.

ON ARRIVING BACK AND HAVING RESTED IN YOUR LODGINGS YOU NEED TO FIND THE OTHERS.
HEAD DOWN TO WHERE SAKARI'S SHELTER IS AND THEN ACROSS TO THE POND. GUARDIAN
ARDEN NEEDS TO TALK TO YOU AND AFTER THAT SHE WILL TELL YOU TO GO AND REGISTER FOR
YOUR EXAMS. HEAD TO THE EXAM ROOM AND TALK TO GUARDIAN HELLER. THEN GO TO THE
TABLE WITH THE LISTS ON AND MAKE YOUR CHOICE – YOU CAN TAKE A FIGHTING TEST, A SPEED
TEST, OR A LOGIC TEST. CHOOSE CAREFULLY AS WHEN YOU SIT THE EXAM YOUR RESULT WILL
AFFECT THE GAME ENDING YOU GET! ONCE DONE, HEAD BACK TO GUARDIAN ARDEN WHO WILL
SEND YOU ON YOUR WAY ONCE MORE.

THE GOOD WITCH

WHEN YOU ARRIVE YOU WILL BE TOLD YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO A WOMAN IN A HOUSE NEAR BY.
HEAD IN TO SEE HER AND ONCE THAT IS DONE YOU CAN HEAD ALONG (EAST THEN NORTH) TO
THE TOWN, PALNAR.
YOU NEED TO EXPLORE AND TALK TO QUITE A FEW PEOPLE SO HAVE A LOOK IN THE HOUSES
AND TALK TO THE PEOPLE IN THEM – YOU WILL DISCOVER SOME STRANGE THINGS HAVE BEEN
HAPPENING TO THE CHILDREN OF THE TOWN. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO FIND A CHILD WHO HAS
BEEN TURNED INTO A FROG AND THEN CARRIED OFF BY A BIRD. HEAD SOUTH AND THEN EAST.
YOU WILL FIND THE FROG BESIDE A SMALL POOL IN THE NORTH EAST CORNER.
YOU CAN NOW RETURN HIM TO HIS WORRIED MOTHER BUT REMEMBER, THERE MAY BE OTHER
THINGS YOU CAN DO AND FIND BEFORE YOU DO THIS! ONCE YOU HAVE HIM BACK HOME EXIT
THE HOUSE AND ELLA WILL BE TAKEN. YOU NEED TO GO FIRST TO THE BOUNTY HUNTERS, THIS
IS THE BUILDING BELOW WHERE YOU WENT TO FIND THE FROG (SEE MAP ABOVE). ENTER AND
TALK TO THE MEN THERE. YOU NEED TO PROVE YOU ARE WITH A GUARDIAN SO HEAD BACK TO
THE START TO TALK TO THE ONE OVERSEEING YOU. SHE WILL EXPLAIN THAT SHE CANNOT HELP
SO NOW HEAD INTO PALNAR, FIND THE HOUSE WITH THE PRETEND GUARDIAN IN AND GET HER
TO COME WITH YOU.
Now it is back to the Bounty Hunters and time to get Ella back. When ready
you should go and rest in the Palnar Inn.

Once rested head outside and talk to the other candidates – then it is back to
the problem at hand. From this point Ella is able to open locked chests! Head
back up to the house in the north east corner of the town and you will find you
can now go upstairs – once there talk to the old woman who is very upset.

You need to find something to calm her so go to the south of the town and
find the man selling teddy bears (see previous map) – these are expensive so
you may find you need to head out and find some monsters to be able to
continue. Once you have the bear go back to the old woman and find that she
is in fact a young girl, you need to speak to her mother next who you will
discover in the library to the north west of the town. After talking head back to
her house and find the spell book which is in one of the drawers downstairs.
Take this book back to Firenne, the witch you initially came to help. Firenne
will magic herself to Palnar and you must go and talk to her there – the
problems are solved and you can head back to the start – only to find an Angel
awaits you instead of the Guardian.

The Angel will explain that the other group of candidates are in trouble. You
can transport back to the clouds and head to the recovery room where you will
find Guardian Arden and an injured Sakari. When ready you can transport
down to Estis to search for Leah and Cal.

In Search of Friends
First head south until you come to a house on its own. Enter and talk to Tesla.
You now need to search for the entrance for the underground place – if you
talk to Tesla again she will offer you a place to rest for free. Head back up to
the north and look for some rocks on the ground in the shape of an F.

You need to be round the right hand side of these and you will discover there
is a passage leading down under the ground. Head down and explore plus get
Cal back. Now to find Leah! Head back out and this time head to the east and
then up to reach the village.
Heading north from here you will come across some caves but one of them
can't be entered because of the noise inside.
Head back out of the village and back to the area of the underground passage
and man with camp fire. A mermaid will have appeared and she needs your
help.

After talking to her head back up to the caves, just before them she will jump
into the water to leave you so that her family can sing and you can enter the
cave. Enter and find Leah.
With the party now complete head back to the start but on the way Leah will
hear mention of Tesla. She will refuse to leave until you go back to the lone
house and talk. Once this is done you can return to the Guardian and back to
the clouds.

On returning you will find that exams have been postponed – it is time for the
castle party! You need to talk to the other candidates, Areth is in the library,
Leah is in the room of oddments and both Dayna and Cal want to speak to
you. After this is done you will find a troll outside the mail centre with a chest
each for Ella and Leah. After talking to the troll open one of the chests and it is
off to the party for you!

A Castle Party

You arrive in the entrance hall and as usual you will find there is plenty here to
do that is not included in the compulsory story so do explore! To progress in
the story though you must first find Areth and Dayna. Dayna is in the treasure
room (down the stairs in the east wing) while Areth is on the top floor in the
guest bedroom section (left wing).
Once they are with you go talk to the chef – his maid has not returned again!
Head down into the caverns and find her to the south. Begin to take her back
to the stairs and she will leave once she recognises where she is.
Now head to the cave where you found the little girl thief in the Castle
Wedding. You need to talk to the Ghost and he has lost his map. Go to the
prison section and talk to the sailor who has set up a treasure hunt for 3 gold
discs. You need to search the castle to get them and then return to him – they
are all visible on the floor rather than hidden away. He will give you a fake
treasure map as a prize. Take this to Prince Noreth on the second floor and he
will swap you for the real map. Take the map back to the ghost. It is weak to
wind and light, and have a moderate chance to be silenced.
Once done you are now free to leave the castle whenever you like but it is
recommended that you explore inside and out! To leave talk to the Guardian in
the entrance hall.

Once back in the clouds Ella has been sleeping in again! She is the last to wake
and realise that it is exam day! Head along to Guardian Heller in the exam
room. He will transport you to whichever exam you selected earlier. Please
note that it is important to listen to the instructions given by the Guardian
overseeing the trial if you want to pass as both this exam and as a candidate!
On completion you will be transported away to a cloud where the angels have
gathered everyone to discuss the latest developments.

Once you have returned to your lodgings you should first make sure you have
done anything you wish to in the clouds – maybe check around for any
unopened chests – you will be leaving this area now. Once done go and talk to
Guardian Heller and be transported down to Estis.

Grounded on Estis

You arrive in the snowfields near Eirwen Caves.


Something has gone wrong and you have lost Guardian Heller, Dayna and
Sakari. First you must find a way to enable Areth to cross the North Pass.
Head east and enter the house if you are able to pay, if not fight some
monsters!
Once in go up the stairs and in a treasure chest find an Aura pendant. If Areth
equips this you can go over the top of the pass. Head across the pass and
down through the tunnel you will find to get to Laynia. Cursed Snowmen are
weakest to Darkness and weak to Fire and Wind, plus they can be put to sleep
at a fairly high chance. Hydras are weak to Earth and Wind, and can be
confused again at a fairly high chance (using Areth's Dance).
Find and talk to Sakari and then you can head on your way – there are children
missing. Head north out of the village and into the caves. Buy a lot of supplies
if possible.
Head up to the north first, keep going once out of the caves and talk tot he
hooded man. Once he lets you pass you keep going north and the east until
you find a house. Enter and you will find Dayna. Cyclops are weakest to Light
and weak to fire. They can also be put to sleep quite easily (80%) and same
for confusion (60%).
After resting you can retrace your steps. You will come across a screen at a
camp fire and discover that the children are trapped inside snowmen. There
are seven to find (shown on the three maps above) and once you have them
all you should return to the village and talk to the old woman.

You will now be returned to the house where Guardian Heller is awake again.
You need to find a way to Virinia but he will not be able to accompany you.
Head back across the north pass towards the snowfields but be aware – you
have a big fight on the way!

Once at the snowfields you should talk to the dragon and, when ready, be
transported to Virinia.

Homeward Bound

On arriving at the mountains head into the caves – Tanith will fly off to get the
other candidates. Head south and the east to get to the Dragon Kingdom.
Talk to the chief and then head back west then south to exit the caves onto the
mountainside. Follow the path until you reach Plamen. To the far east of the
village is the building of the mercenaries.
Enter and talk to the head of the organisation. In order to get access to the
room with the boxes you need to join the group and to do so you need to kill a
two-headed serpent. Head back to the caves and head north to find it.

Once you have defeated it return to Plamen and get access to the room – but
what you are after is not here! You are advised to try the Fire Spirits so head
to the caves then head west this time – the heat is too much though and you
cannot enter. In Plamen you will find a tradesman willing to make you a special
amulet, commission this and then return to the Dragon Kingdom where the
rest of the party is now waiting for you. The amulet will now be ready for
collection and you can enter the Fire Spirit's cave and prepare for a big fight!
On completion you return the eggs to the Dragons. Now head down the
mountainside, out of Plamen and down into Huyana.
There is a house to the south – enter and talk to Guardian Jo, if you then talk
to the woman you can rest for the night.

In the morning head east into Mildryth.

You will find Guardian Arden in the Inn and she will take you to talk to Ella's
family. There are plenty of optional things to do and explore in this region but
when ready go and rest in the inn. You will wake to find the children have gone
and the mirrors have broken. Head back to the house to the west where you
will find Guardian Arden waiting to take you inside.

After the talk, and once ready, you can step through the mirror. It is advised
you make sure you have plenty of items first – the herb gardens in Huyana
offer a good selection!
Children of the Cold

Exit the building and go to the hut with the guard outside. Enter and fight
Cethin to get a key.
Now head east and then west to find a large building. The key will open a side
door, enter this and flip the switch on the wall and get another key form the
drawers. Head back the way you came until you see two houses – the key will
open the one on the left so enter and talk to the children inside. You will be
warned that there appear to be voices outside so prepare for a fight when you
exit. You will receive another key so head back to the main building and enter
the other side door. Turn the switch and you can now enter the main door. Go
to the end of the corridor and examine the pillar, it appears another key is
needed. Exit and you will see a strange creature disappear down a well. Follow
it down there. After talking exit and head back to the building where you first
arrived. Again there is a fight ahead of you but once done, and when you are
happy there is nothing else you wish to do, you can not use this key for the
portal pillar in the hallway.

You have some fights ahead so keep progressing forward until eventually you
must challenge and defeat Eselyt. Make sure to enter her realm fully prepared
and with a lot of all healing items. You can purchase them in the hidden cave
(well) to one of the flying creatures.
