Income qualified First Energy customers may be eligible to receive a grant up to the amount of their delinquent balance, not to exceed $300. Applicants must also have made a good faith payment within the past 90 days. Eligibility is based on household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (see income table below).

Proof of Identification
Driver’s License or Photo ID or Social Security Card or Birth Certificate

Proof of Household Income
Pay Stubs or Social Security Award Letter or Recent W-2 Forms or Most Recent Income Tax Filing with IRS (including Schedule C if self-employed)

Proof of Delinquent Electric Bill Balance & Good Faith Payment
Most Recent Bill / Termination Notice / Proof of Payment

Grant Funds will not be applied to PIPP Balance.
