I am told that to find the mean you just gotta look at this... honestly! Just this... Σx ¯ X= n Well, that’s a bummer.... what the hell does x stand for? x’s are just variables... random variables that represent some numbers. The numbers could be ages of students in a class, temperature readings in a chem experiment, and other stuff... you get the picture; it could even be the number of girls you’ve hooked up with! lol! Oh! By the way, the n is just the number of variables... the number of students, the number of hookups, the number of coc sachets, etc. The mean is also known as an average. The average is a way of getting a sense of numbers. The central tendency of those numbers. F**k this! There’s other stuff you could get hooked up to like the standard deviation and variance. All this helps us! Damn math and its pranks. You can find the standard deviation using this formula: standard deviation = Σ(x − µ)2 n

The derivation of the simpler formula is just by expanding the quadratic in

the formula above. standard deviation = = = = = = Σ(x − µ)2 n 2 Σ(x − 2xµ + µ2 ) n Σx2 Σx Σµ2 − 2µ + n n n 2 Σµ2 Σx − 2µ.µ + n n Σx2 nµ2 − 2µ.µ + n n Σx2 − µ2 n

The jolly good equation is now much simple!!!!!! Hooray! The End!
