Loren and (b)

There is no(6)
problem with providing (b) (6) this type of info, correct? Did we put that 24 need for a
biological report on (b) (6) ? I don’t know the specific on the road surface. The gates should be
presented to him as tentative if we haven’t nailed down the locations. (b) (6) needs to get back with
him pretty quick. Thanks.

(b) (6)

(b) (6) the local Endanger Species Biologist for US Fish and Wildlife called asking for
information regarding the Hidalgo Co. project such as the type of road (gravel, dirt ect) that is being
proposed for the south side of the wall (hydraulic structure) and width of the road. He was also
requesting the access points (gates or ramps) that we are proposing. He said that he was given 24
hrs by DC to provide some sort of a Biological report regarding the Hidalgo Co project. I advised him
that the access points are going to be revisited and we do not have a definite answer for the road on
the south side of the levee, but it will be placed within the current IBWC easement,. What info can we
give him if any?

FYI After our meeting with the Hidalgo Co. officials yesterday, Lauren wanted us to go back and look
at every ramp that is currently crossing the levee within the proposed hydraulic structure and see what
type of impact our proposed gates will have on the landowners. There are a few gates that have
changed from the original PF 225 gates that we had strategically selected that we shared with USFWS
in November.
