Reaction on Industrial Nursing Exposure

At first, I have an idea about industrial nursing because when I was on my junior
nursing student year, me as well my group mates had seen senior students in their
industrial nursing exposure. In their, they have physical assessment and visual acuity
examination which I thought we would also do in our exposure. I am so excited at that
day, maybe that was not so seen in me because I am very hungry at that time when I
arrived to the school. When we were asked by our instructress to follow her to the office,
I said to myself that this is it. But I was but not too much disappointed when I heard to
our instructress that the school nurse was out for a vacation so we cannot do most of
the activities in line with our topic for that day. I was really depressed about that but we
have no choice but to accept it. Although we have nothing to do, our instructress
assigned me to take charge in the nurse’s desk wherein elementary students go when
they are sick or having some problems. So I take charge, but they noticed that many
students were coming and they thought I was the factor that made the students sick. I
was so happy and learned many things at that day even though many things which
were not really expected to happen maybe because I was so gloomy that day and my
group mates noticed that. I learned that there are so many factors even if it is
environmental or internal, it may affect a person physically or emotionally which may
cause harmful things to everyone.
