05 Scheme of Examination :
Part-I : Written Test
Part-II : Skill test on working knowledge in computer and Speed Test in typing.
Part -I : The Wirtten test will consist of One Paper of 200 Marks containing 04 Parts;
(i) English language (ii) General Intelligence and General Aptitude (iii) Numerial Aptitude and (iv) General
Awareness. Each question shall carry one mark. The questions in all the four parts will be of objective
type(Multiple choice)ones. The examination will be of 03 (three hour duration.
Part -II: The Corporation reserves the right to admit only t hat much candidates as considered necessary by
it for skill test, i.e. Working knowledgeof computer including office suites and database with typing speed
of 40 WPM in English or 35 wpm in Hindi, based on the performance of candidates in Part-I Written test.

Rubber stamps have become very common it ems in the modern era. As the time change, every
human being wants to become more distinguished in t he eyes of society. The name and designa-
tion are of much importance in this advanced world. Rubber stamps are employed for easy printing
of one’s name and designation.
Now-a-days every man rich or poor, wants to impress a rubber stamp on his letters or other papers
concerned to show his connect ion wit h a special group of society. Rubber stamps are becoming
more and more popular with civilization of people. These products have a very good market in
urban areas. The demand for rubber stamp is increasing rapidly with the populat ion as well as

is of much signif icance that people usually want t o get their names and designations printed on
letters and concerned papers. Wit h t he rise in living standards as well as population the demand for
rubber stamps is increasing tremendously in India. This industry is estimated to have a bright future
owing to t he increasing demand for its product.

Manufacturing Process ,
The manufacture of rubber stamps involves the following steps:
Step 1
Arrange printer’s type in a holder with proper spacing. Take a proof of the composed matter and
inspect the ent ire mat ter in correct t o the last dot . After correction the type is set in the chase,
levelled and finally clamped thoroughly on all sides.
Step 2
From the above composed matter a plaster cast is t aken. Superior quality paris should be used
for t his purpose. Care should be taken to see that no lumps are formed and the mix is even. Brush
thoroughly the composed matter and wash it with olive oil to prevent plaster adhering to it at the
time of removal. In a frame, pour the plaster of paris till it overf lows over the frames. Then using a
knife the levelling is done and air bubbles burst out. After somet ime plaster starts hardening. Lift the
frame and press the plaster side on the types sinking into it to the proper level. Aft er 4-5 minutes,
when t he plaster has hardened, lift the frame of the chase gently and dry the plaster box in an oven
for somet ime. The plast er cast should be complet ely dried in the oven.
Step 3
After the drying, soak the plaster cast in a solution of gum shellac dissolved in methylated spirit.
It will provide the plaster cast with a smooth f inish.
Step 4
The plaster cast thus obtained is mount ed on the press. Cut the rubber sheet to the required size
of t he stamps. Two such pieces are placed on the plaster. The t op rubber piece is chalked with french
chalk. Over this a piece of card board is placed and then pressure is applied.
Step 5
This is then heated. As the rubber becomes hot. It will soften and starts to flow. As it softens the
screw on the press should be tightened from time to time. The rubber will flow through the cavities
and t he excess will flow out.
Step 6
When the vulcanization is complete, the whole apparatus may be removed f rom pressure and
heat. It is then allowed to cool. Then the assembly is removed and the rubber strip is taken out from
the plaster mould.
Step 7
The edges of rubber strips are then trimmed and strips are mounted on wooden handle wit h
thick solution of ordinary glue. The wooden handle is marked to show the position of types. Some-
times label is also fixed on the wooden handle*indicating the matt er.
The product is then despatched for marketing.
