To You God

Your words are more than good ideas

And ways to cope with all our strife,

Your words are more than just suggestions

They are meant to be our way of life,

Your book is more than history

About a single nation,

Instead it is a tightly woven plan

That maps out our salvation.

There·s nothing you have done in secret

Just look up, see the moon and sun,

There is no one that you·ve left out

We·re all covered by the blood of your Son.

You are God and the creator of all

As such you are everywhere,

There·s no where we can run from you

We must instead choose to ignore you·re there.

When all is over, said and done

When we have finished this human race,

When the roll is called up yonder

We can claim our victory by way of your amazing grace.
