Rules and Regulations for Examinations:

1. There shall be examination at the end of each semester as


per scheme of examination and each student shall have to
appear in all papers prescribed in the syllabi.
2. Each course assessment from semester – I to semester – III
will be divided into four parts as follows:

Written examination comprising two theory papers 100


marks each
(Total 200 marks)
Practical examination
120 marks
Viva-voce
30 marks
Continuous assessment during course work and seminars
50marks
However in semester IV it will be divided in to the following parts:
Written examination comprising one theory
paper 100 marks
Dissertation on Project Work
200 marks
Viva on Project Work & General
100 marks

SEMESTER-I

Paper-I: Structure & Reactivity, 100 marks


Stereochemistry, Pericyclic Reactions,
Heterocyclic Chemistry, Carbohydrates
Paper-II: Coordiation Chemistry , 100 marks
Organometallic Compounds, Spectroscopy,
I.R., U.V., N.M.R. , Mass spectroscopy,
Radio isotopes.
