Like the future tense, the conditional is formed by adding endings (-ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían) to the entire
infinitive. Do not confuse the conditional forms of -er and -ir verbs with the imperfect. The endings for the
latter are added to the stem, not to the infinitive.
