Ministry for the Sick and Homebound
We are grateful to those who give of their time and
care to bring Holy Communion to our parishioners
who cannot make it to church due to sickness or
infirmity. If you know of anyone who would like to re-
ceive communion in their home or while hospitalized
at West Lincoln Hospital, please contact the parish
office.
SVDP Society
MISSION - The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a
lay Catholic organization whose mission is: To live
the Gospel message by serving Christ in the
poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
VALUES - The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul implies that as Vincentians we: see Christ in
anyone who suffers, come together as a family,
have personal contact with the poor, help in all pos-
sible ways.
Canadian Tire Money
We continue to collect Canadian Tire money to pur-
chase raffle prizes for fundraising events. It can be

Ladies please join us for the Installation of

YOUth Blasters Winter Schedule
YOUth Blasters upcoming gatherings will be at the
parish on the following dates:
January 28th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
February 11th & 25th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
YOUth Blasters always have a great time growing
in our faith together through prayer, activities, crafts,
music and snacks! All newcomers are welcome
(grade 3 and up)! Please pick up a registration form
from the office and return it at our next gathering!

Week Of Prayer for Christian Unity
January 18-25
“Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power”
(Exodus 15:6)
The Second Vatican Council’s Declaration on Chris-
tian Unity expresses the Church’s heart on this is-
sue: “The restoration of unity among all Christians is
one of the principal concerns of the Second Vatican
Council. Christ the Lord founded one Church and
one Church only. However, many Christian com-
munions present themselves as the true inheritors of
Jesus Christ; all indeed profess to be followers of the
Lord but differ in mind and go their different ways, as
if Christ himself were divided. Such division openly
contradicts the will of Christ, scandalizes the world,
and damages the holy cause of preaching the Gos-
pel to every creature.” (Unitatis Redintegratio; intro-
duction)
The theme for the 2018 Week of Prayer for Christian
Unity comes to us from the Caribbean region: “Your
right hand, O Lord, glorious in power” (Exodus 15:6).
Every year between January 18-25, Christians
around the world are invited to elebrate a Week of
Prayer for the unity of all Christians and to partici-
pate in various liturgical and other community activ-
ites, and to pray together that all may be one, as
Christ desires.
