“Is Hell Real?”

Introduction This rather short narrative will perhaps help to open any darkened or even illogical areas of our mind. We begin with the passage apostle Paul wrote about the mystery of resurrection. [1 Corinthians 15:50] Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. It is not hard to imagine that anything natural can be subject to influences from the same. The known to us fire can only burn something burnable and cause physical pain to anything physical. Fire removes moisture, hence heat dries up and makes us thirsty. Nonetheless, thirst is physical just as the need for water is also. Jesus clearly stated that after resurrection we shall be like angels, no longer being able to physically procreate as we do naturally through sexual intercourse and that genders will be no more. Also, Paul said that in Christ, or in God’s kingdom, there is no man and woman; in other words, no genders. This is the spiritual world, which we tend to mix with our physical senses. We conclude that winds, spirits and flames (angels) are not flesh-and-blood beings, compatible with humans in the sexual sense. A realm where flesh plays no role—as we know it for resurrected bodies of all those deemed good or evil—are of a completely different substance. That spiritual substance would not need or would procreate through sex. Later on the reader will realize that angels can even enter the natural fire and not be scorched or burn or suffer any pain; and such bodies we shall have. And since that is the case we logically deduce that Adam and Eve of Genesis 1:26 were purely spiritual, like an angel, which was put into a body made from physical substance like the earth’s dust, which contains all the minerals our bodies need. Above the ground we find vitamins and in the ground minerals. And with these we are quite preoccupied to this day assuming that our health depends on these more than on the heavenly spiritual substance human body encloses. There is a lot of nonsense going around. Those in religion get quite easily seduced with the sensational just to capture their audiences’ attention. But the result is confusion, which leads to more cravings of the outlandish and sensational. But is God the Spirit sensational? Plots and cosmic wars, fallen angels, demons and dragons, seduce the mind much quicker than the calm, peaceful, solid and non-dramatic truth. Religion propagates the sensational in order to win some to Christ… I assume. But once those senses get stirred up the craving for more continues. And based on that the fantastic Book of Revelations gains all the more popularity as it is being twisted and turned every possible way. The book has so many gaps, dead-end leads and logical errors that it can indeed be twisted and turned anyway one wishes to. Like the drug called Heroin, once it is injected into a body the body longs for more of the same until the drug completely dominates an addict’s psychology. But God is not sensational nor the spiritual realm. The natural world is filled upheaval and unpredictability. If it is not the grinding of the tectonic plates, which results in earthquakes and tsunamis; then we have the manmade wars, not to mention famines and floods. Definitely, this world cannot ever give us the peace Jesus spoke of. An intelligent question forces itself upon us: where did Jesus get this peace? Since He made the comparison with this world and He emphasized “My peace” as opposed the other kind of peace then we must conclude that heaven enjoys complete peace. (John 14:27) Angels are called spirits, winds and flames and those that have come in contact with them could not describe them with proper words for we have no words to describe them. Spirit contains life and soul contains character. We were souls and spirit in one unit before we were enclosed with garments made out of clay. Such was Adam, made out of Adamah (ground in Hebrew) and then became physical (Genesis 2:5, 7); he was in heaven by God and was like Him for God is Spirit (John 4:24).

Only in the physical state genders came to play a role. Adam and Eve were split into two separate physical beings and genders. Their experience of cold and hot was not yet known for Eden enjoyed a constant temperature and mild climate otherwise they would have to clothe themselves during the night, which was not the case. They only covered themselves after transgression, which God Himself instigated in order to create contrasts, opposites and hence a choice. But not because of the cold, but rather because of the first feeling of shame, which is needed to provoke repentance and regret. Hence, instead of using shame as the catalyst for repentance they had accepted the melancholy of it all and walked in it. Only in the seventh generation after Adam a man by the name Enoch repented and walked with God. God loved that man and took him alive unto Himself. The choice to love God and study Him and His ways was given to us after transgression for no one can choose light when one has never seen it by being in gross darkness. No one can choose joy when one was never sad, etc. But Adam and his wife fell in love with the physical more than the spiritual and understandably so. They were indeed exploring their bodies and the surrounding natural world, just as we do. — We watch nature, colorful birds, how they fly, colorful fish and how they swim in water. We are fascinated with birds’ migrations and even with ants in the jungle. — This fascination became too dominant, which led to occult and witchcraft practices, sexual perversions, territoriality and murder, which surprisingly was quite easy to commit. What once was it shall be again but only better and glorified through our triumphs over any obstacles life might have thrown at us. God’s seed is always victorious by being fruitful. We glorify our Maker when we bring forth much fruit and thus prove to be His or of His kind. Since flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom, nor anything perishable, therefore it must be changed into something eternal and imperishable even like the state of Adam and Eve of Genesis 1:26, but glorified through the right choices. Doesn’t God want us to think logically and intelligently? Didn’t He instigated it all in the first place and He delights in our searching for the truth? This was the mission of Jesus to testify to the truth in, which Pilate was not interested.1 Jesus tried to inspire both the arguing Judeans as well as His disciples in the task of applying themselves to understanding and knowledge?2 Understanding is God’s gift, but it is spiritual, an ability to grasp spiritual things using the heavenly logic. But as far as we know only Enoch achieved it and God took him, but perhaps many of his protégés also, which have appeared to Abraham and two of those men, went down to the sinful Sodom and Gomorrah. After they rescued Lot and his family they went back whence they came from. The reason is simple. Abraham spoke with one angel, whom he had called THE LORD; hence God’s name YHVH was in that angel, who most likely was the messenger Gabriel.3 But the other two men (the Bible calls them men, not angels) physically took Lot and his folk by the hand and led them outside those two cities. Also, when Jacob struggled with an angel all night it was a physical wrestling by which Jacob was injured hence it had to be one of those men. There is so much logic in the Bible that only a fool would go for the sensational and unexplained—being quite addicted to just the fleshly perceptions—but it takes only a little detachment from the flesh in order to see it all. These are just bit and pieces. There is so much more. Only flesh and blood can sin, which is the way of pain. Death can only affect something physical, hence it is called perishable. But this melancholy must not remain utopian or as something far-fetched and so distant that we can’t imagine.
Gospel of John 18:37-38 Gospels of John 8:43; Mark 8:16-21; John 10:38 3 The reasoning is that in the Bible Gabriel is portrayed as a messenger or speaker.

[1 Corinthians 15] 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Just like comets release bright light when they penetrate the earth’s atmosphere, so can be with our bodies at the entrance into the spiritual realm. Just as there is nothing left of the comet or an asteroid, but only bright light, its existence however is either completely obliterated or its spiritual counterpart remains in the spiritual sphere. The same will be with some who will cease to exist in neither realm; (physical or spiritual); for indeed a soul can be destroyed. (To go deeper read: “When The Immortal Soul Dies.”) If the Creator wishes to keep all those floating space rocks in order to form another celestial body then that’s His prerogative, but if He wants them to completely cease than that is only possible using His eternal or the spiritual fire that eliminates all things in existence. Imagine. Anything spiritual governs anything physical and not the other way around. Although gravity is not visible, or wind, these affect our lives. Yet through keener observations and learning we are able to harness to our advantage both the air pressure as well as the magnetic fields. How much more we can augment our understanding of the spiritual world by studying its laws? Before we go any further let me ask you this intelligent question: can physical fire burn spiritual or an imperishable being? Since I have the opportunity here to share with you my thoughts and by seeking also finding solid answers I take my liberty by exposing you the reader to something exquisite in terms of logic, wisdom and joyous revelation. Rising above the vengeance sentiment Before I fell asleep I asked God to punish my enemies for what they have done to me. Then all of a sudden I was awakened by the Presence of the Lord, which I knew since childhood and then we conversed. “Would it give you a great pleasure when I punish your enemies?” – He said. I pondered on His wording and replied, “Pleasure? Vengeance or punishment of my enemies would not give me any pleasure.” Then He replied, “Then leave it all in My hands.” [Hebrews 10:30-31] “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Indeed, in His presence I realized that however and by whomever the universe was made, the destructive volatility is always there; it is terrifying to fall into the hands of the angry and living God. Perhaps these words had something to do with the volcanic lava. At the bottom of a crater and molten lava can be seen as living. Since the New Testament was written in Greek, allusions to lakes of fire were frequent and anything living had to move, hence this verse: [Acts 17:28] “For in Him we live and move and exist…” It is only natural to conclude that anything moving lives and anything still is dead. After that conversation my fuming and the desire for retribution subsided. I really looked into the wording the Lord used. “Pleasure” was not what I would derive from seeing my enemies punished.

At the same time I also realized that I was being tested as to what I really wish for my enemies. I was tested in the realm of self-righteousness and self-importance. Then I went further and saw the aftermath of the calamities and curses that have befallen my enemies. I knew very well that He gave me new keys. As His anointed vessel I do carry some degree of power; for like a prophet in whose mouth He placed His word, we can do what Elisha did to the forty-two kids. [2 Kings 2:23-24] As he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!” When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number. I do not wish accidental death to anyone or any death causing illness. I do not wish anyone to go bankrupt or become homeless or destitute on my account. I do not wish anyone to go crazy, not even to the worst of my enemies. None of these would give me any pleasure. I also knew that I was being tested in my sonship, which Matthew 5:9 defines as peacemakers. Not war makers, but makers of peace. Then I went even further: If I do not wish any of these things to anyone that maliciously turned against me, then I must stop viewing them as my enemies. Here the enemy business has stopped. In my head I reinterpreted it all as them being misguided and in a sorry state of being individuals, deserving my pity rather than revenge. All of a sudden I grew tall as if a huge angel entered my body. I towered above the so-called—and now my former enemies—and was able to have mercy on them and even love them. Instead of remaining on their level of malice, bitterness and blunt hatred I rose above them and ever since that day I have remained in that blessed state. I overcame one obstacle. How many more are there only He knows. Note: The reader will find more on this subject in the booklets entitled: “The Love Essence” and “Patriotism The Most Abused Sentiment” by the same author. I left it all in God’s hands and detached my emotions from that decision. I have realized that the desire for vengeance is empty of any substance. It is not the sober mind that orders our behavior, but rather the soul, which often is detached from the rational mind. What sort of satisfaction does one derive from being vengeful and of what quality is that satisfaction? What does it accomplish? Isn’t it just our vain pride that seeks it? When that vanity is satisfied, regrets might follow. If we are the peacemakers, therefore sons (Matthew 5:9; Rom. 8:14) we must pass the test of the actual peace making. Reconciliation, repair and restoration are completely dependent on us; and it belongs to our will. A strong decision and determination—to follow that which is right rather than that what one feels—must become evident; and by this we prove that we are not only His seed, the sought after treasure or that costly pearl, but also His disciples. I guess… we are touching on the subject of crime and punishment. Some people do not care to understand God’s wrath, the provocation and the force behind it. On earth we have courts. The legal system is in place in order to find out what crime was committed, and in what state of mind. Yet, this idea came to us from no one else but the Creator Himself. If a criminal is found to be demented or an extraordinarily gifted and convincing actor then the punishment might be different from that of a premeditated murder by someone showing signs of sound mind.
