UNIQUE ADVOCACY The CLEARITY Foundation is the only foundation in America dedicated to improving therapeutic options now for

women who have recurrent or refractory ovarian cancer. UNIQUE SERVICE When ovarian cancer comes back, there are many treatment choices but no way to prioritize them for each individual’s tumor. The CLEARITY Foundation contracts with CLIA-certified labs to run a panel of specially selected tests for ovarian cancer. The tests measure the expression of “biomarkers” and the results provide important information to doctors and patients which help prioritize treatment decisions, including clinical trials, for each individual patient. As we have provided this service for over two years, we have built a valuable database. We keep individual patient data private, but record the test results and track how patients respond to a particular therapy. For more information, visit www.clearityfoundation.org or call (858) 459-5177. The Clearity Foundation 7514 Girard Avenue, Suite 218 La Jolla, CA 92037-5149

Since 1998, OCRF has awarded almost $40 million in research grants to investigators developing innovative strategies for early detection; exploring the genetics that increase risk; identifying new and improved targets for treatments; and deciphering how and why ovarian cancer spreads and how to stop it. For more information visit www.ocrf.org or call (212) 268-1002. For information packets and brochures about ovarian cancer and our fund, please call our toll-free number at (800) 873-9569.
