Thank you for your latest letter. We are clearly not going to agree .
I suggest, in lfne with Alastair's last letter to me, that we now wait for
the report of the Foreign Affairs Sefect Committee .

We appreciate the level of anger in Govemment about our report .


I hope you appreciate the deep sense of injustice in the BBC that a
disagreement about one report was used to traduce the whole
organisation .
