Uranium Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the
Department of Atomic Energy with its Headquarters at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum,
Jharkhand. Company is engaged in mining and processing of uranium ore for use as fuel in the country’s
Nuclear Power Reactors. Company is presently running five underground mines, an opencast mine, two
Processing Plants and a by-product recovery plant – all in Singhbhum (East) district of Jharkhand. Company
is also poised for a massive expansion in different parts of the country. UCIL is a scheduled B company and
following IDA pattern of pay scales revised w.e.f. 01.01.2007.

Now, UCIL invites applications from Indian citizens for the following posts (including few backlog
vacancies) required for its existing units in Jharkhand and upcoming projects in Andhra Pradesh &
Karnataka:

Qualifications & Experience for the Posts at Sl.No. :

1. Fellow/Associate member of the ICSI. Minimum 15/12 years post qualification experience as a Company
Secretary in a PSU/large concerns preferably in Mining sector, having exposure in the areas like
Personnel, Administration, etc. Persons having exposure of working in listed companies will be
preferred.

2. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University/recognized Institution. Minimum 12/09 years post
qualification working experience in maintenance of underground equipments / mineral processing
equipments in a reputed mining company. The candidate would have thorough knowledge of
maintenance of Winders/ Crushers/Ball Mills/ Filters etc.

3. Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a University/recognised Institution.

Minimum 12/09 years post qualification working experience in the fields of Metal Mine, Mineral
Beneficiation plants, VVVF Drives, D.C. Speed controls through Thyristor Converters and PLC, Control
Systems, H.T & L.T. Motors, Switchgears, Operation and Maintenance of EHV upto 132 KV Switchyards
and Substations.

4. Degree in any discipline with 02(two) two years full time recognised PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel
Management, Labour/Social Welfare, IR or MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management. Degree
in Law is desirable. Minimum 12/09 years of post qualification experience in any PSU/large organisation
dealings in matter relating to Labour, Industrial Relations/community welfare & General Administration.

5. B.Tech/B.E.(Computer Sc.) ‘OR’ MCA from any university or recognized institution. Minimum 12 years
post qualification experience in Accounts Department of a PSU/large concerns preferably in Mining &
Processing, having exposure in the areas like Works Accounting, Project Accounting and finalization of
Accounts and Taxation. He should have worked in computerized environment and have knowledge of
ORACLE, Database & preparation of forms and reports.

6. Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or MCA or Graduation with Mathematics with 10 years of

exposure in the area of OMMS, Pay Roll, Oracle Base, Financial Accounting (OLFAS), Depreciation and
Provident Fund with able to work on AIX (IBM UNIX), ORACLE 8i/9i/10g, D2K, Pro Cobol/Pro C.

General terms & conditions:

Other things being equal, preference will be given to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy
layers) , Physically Handicapped and persons knowing Telugu languages for the posts required for Andhra
Pradesh respectively. Age relaxation will be extended to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layers)/Physically
Handicapped candidates as per the directives of the Government. Age relaxation/higher scale may also be
considered for exceptionally experienced persons at the discretion of the company. Govt./Quasi Govt./Public
Sector Undertaking employees must forward their applications through proper channel.
