WHAT IS SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY?

• The obligation of any business to protect and


serve public interest is known as social
responsibility of a business.
• The business is a part of the society. It borrows
resources, employees,etc., from society and
also has customers who are a part of the
society. As such, a business cannot exist without
the society. Thus, the business is responsible
towards society.
