Description The project isa public-private partnership between Motorola, public safety
agencies, and broadband providers in the San Francisco Bay area. The project

broadband service to community anchor institutions and residential and
business end users,

o ae‘As the largest city in the BayWEB region and one of the three Bay Area cities to petition the
‘original FCC 700 MHz waiver, the City of San Jose joins with many other regional partners that
have significant questions regarding the grant application and the proposed implementation that
need to be answered o ensure a successful project. This project will directly impact our
community's safety and security, along with that of the ten Bay Area counties and more than 100
Bay Area cities. The proposed project has fiscal implications forall of us.
