When Elijah told God that the Israelites were trying to kill him, what did God instruct

Elijah to do?

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I; send me!’” Isaiah 6:8

A special guest speaker is coming to Bible Theater next week! You won’t want to miss it!

Read next week’s Bible story. You can find it right here in your GPS or in Matthew 25:34-40.

Many places in the Bible teach us that Jesus calls us to help those in need. In Matthew 25:34-40, Jesus says these words: “’For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these, you did it for me.’” How can you and your family help those in need? Can you prepare and serve a meal for someone? Can you volunteer in a homeless shelter? Can you pack a box for Operation Christmas Child?

Remember that whenever you do something kind for others, Jesus says it is like doing it for Him.

Review your memory verse. You can find it on the front of the GPS.

Pray that God will lead you to help someone in need.
