CARGO TANK CLEANING GUIDE


THIS GUIDE COVERS WHITE OIL CARGOES IN COATED TANKS
AND BLACK OIL / CRUDE CARGOES IN EITHER COATED OR UN-COATED TANKS
When cleaning to load a CPP cargo in a tank that had previously contained DPP, more specific instructions are to be obtained from Teekay.

No washing required - strip and drain well. Refer to notes: 2, 3 & 5 P - PURGE with IG to less than 2% by volume HC

Wash tanks with COLD sea water until tank is clean.

Wash tanks with HOT sea water until tank is clean. X - If ROB is less than 0.1%, and purging (if required) is effective, cargo may be loaded
