In connection with your expressed desire to be admitted to the graduate program of the College of Education, please find attached: (a) UPCE application forms for admission and (b) Information on the Graduate Program of the UP College of Education.

Please be informed that the following documents are needed to support your application:

1. Original copies of your Official Transcript of Records (undergraduate and graduate work, if any) plus two (2) photocopies. The University does not accept OTR’s with following notations: FOR EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES, FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES, FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES, NOT VALID FOR TRANSFER, INFORMATIVE COPY, FOR STUDENT COPY, etc.

2. Accomplished application forms (2 sets)

3. Official receipt of application fee of PhP500.00 (for Filipino applicant) US$25.00 (for Foreign applicant) (to be paid to the U.P. Cashier, U.P. Diliman, Quezon City) (non- refundable)

4. Three (3) letters of recommendation or references from former professors and/or current employers

5. Five (5) copies of 2”x 2” recent picture (not computer scanned/xerox)

6. Original Birth Certificate plus one (1) photocopy (NSO copy)

7. Original Marriage Contract plus one (1) photocopy (if female and married) (NSO copy)

8. Self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) and one long folder

9. Permit to study (if currently employed)

10. Official copy of the results of your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination. (For foreign applicants whose native language or whose medium of instruction is not English).

The deadline for filing application forms (masteral and doctoral) with the required documents for First Semester 2010-2011 will be on January 29, 2010. Doctoral Admission Test in Education (DATE) is scheduled on March 24, 2010. For the MAEd. applicants, Master’s Admission Test in Education (MATE) for First Semester 2010-2011 will be on March 25 & 26, 2010.
