Print Address Booklet from Outlook 2003

Open the Outlook 2003 program. Select the Contacts tab.

Select Current View as Address Cards.

Go to the top menu and select File → Page Setup → Medium Booklet Style.

You will now see the dialog box shown below. Make sure the settings in each of the three tabs— Format, Paper, and Header/Footer--match the following three screen shots.

If the Footer setting does not match the above, follow these two steps: 1 – Put the mouse cursor in the box in the right hand box under Footer and left-click once (and you will see a straight vertical line as shown below.) 2 – Click the middle icon (3rd of 5 icons) in the box just under the three footer position boxes (and [Date Printed] will appear in the box as shown below.)

Click the OK button (bottom, left) to close the dialog box.

Go to the top menu and select File → Print.

You will now see the dialog box shown below. Click the Properties button (top, right).

Make sure the settings in each of the two tabs—Main and Page Layout--match the following two screen shots.

Click the OK button shown above (lower, left) to close this dialog box and go back to the main Print dialog box (below). Click the OK button shown below (lower, left) to start printing the address booklet.

After the first side of the booklet pages are printed, you will see the Double-Sided Printing dialog box, as shown below. Remove the printed pages – Make sure that the printed text is (a) right side up and (b) facing away from you. (This will vary according to your printer make and model. Please check your printer documentation for instructions on double-sided printing.) – Place the pages back in the printer paper feed tray to print the second side. Then click the Resume button (lower, right).

When printing is finished cut the pages in half horizontally, combine the two halves, and fold the booklet in half.
