Other Supplies: Bag of Corn Cob Bedding from Pet Store Essential oils in scent of your choice

Directions:
1. Pour a handful of Cob Bedding into a Ziploc with several drops of essential oils and mix well.

2. Allow the kernels to dry completely. Be careful not to put too much oil or it will stain your sachet just like a bag of popcorn!

3. Seal a Crumb Cake Medium Envelope closed by moistening the adhesive strip and closing.

4. Turn the envelope over and align it vertically. 5. Stamp the Bells image onto the bottom of the envelope in Soft Suede Classic Ink. 6. Stamp the Merry Christmas image to the right of it in Always Artichoke Classic Ink.

7. Using a blender pen and classic inks, color in the Bells image

8. Cut off the top 2” of the envelope.

9. Punch a lace border onto the bottom edge of the piece just cut. It will be the “open end.”

10. Insert the bottom half of the envelope into the paper crimper sideways and run it through.

This is what your pieces should look like now.

11. Pour a tablespoon of the scented Corn Cob bedding into the bottom half of the envelope.

Note: Don’t add too much! You want the envelope to lay kind of flat still and the scent will overpower you if you’re not careful!

12. Replace the “topper” sliding it all the way over the bottom. Because you crimped the bottom, it should slide nicely!

13. Mark and punch out two holes through all the layers of the envelope. It should be about 5/8” from the top. Measuring from the left, the marks will be at 1-3/4” and 2-3/4”. Use the larger hole in the Crop A Dile.

14. Insert both ends of a length of satin ribbon into the holes leaving a loop at the back for hanging the sachet on the backs of chairs, on clothes hangers, etc.

15. Tie the ribbon into a bow and trim the edges. (You could spray with Smooch Spray, sponge the edges, etc. if you choose.)

16. Add pearls to the bell and distress or decorate more if you like!

This sample was made by stamping the image from the Northern Hearts stamp set with markers (Crumb Cake, Real Red and Old Olive)
