About Conference
Changes are taking place rapidly. So how can parents nurture their children so that they can take advantage of the new opportunities in an increasingly globalised world? It has been said that the key to great parenting and strong family ties between parents and children often lie in the quality of the parent-child communication. Every child has the innate ability to be nurtured as a leader if clear parental belief and involvement is given right at the start of their development. Halogen Foundation believes in creating opportunities for young people to learn about leadership and more importantly, engage the single most influential people in a child’s life in this nurturing process — their parents.

I believe every child is a potential leader. They may not become the next Lee Iacocca, Norman Schwartzkopf, or Mother Teresa — but I believe inside every kid lies great potential to influence other people.
