Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is directly related to work stress o Co-workers verbally or psychologically bullying a person Often times everyone sees but no one steps in, this adds to the embarrassment of the situation, this is where a supervisor or manager should step in. o Managers may run the organization with fear tactics to keep their workers in line With the threat of losing your job is dangling over your head, stress levels blast through the roof, the only way for this to end is for store and corporation owners to really test all their managing staff before they set them loose. Surveys Show That 77% of students are bullied mentally, verbally, & physically. o with students constantly worrying about being harassed by a classmate, they are unable to get the information they need out of class very similar to bullying in the workplace, these instances usually take place in front of a number of bystanders, numbers are everything, one bully usually won t go after the person walking 5 deep In 92% of cases, the bosses are the perpetrators o This is exhibited by being given long, unreasonable shifts; making deadlines unrealistic or impossible; not giving credit when credit is due to the person. With CFS on the rise in many work-places, productivity and overall morale goes down due to the bullying that goes on, this in turn causes the whole system to lose efficiency, making bullying extremely anti-productive. Having multiple managers on staff does a lot to chase out bullying from a higher power, but may do little to stop peer to peer violence.
