Modelling policy interventions in the cultural sector

The ESRC Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC) and the Institute for Cultural
Practices at the University of Manchester are jointly hosting an engagement seminar on the
DCMS Culture and Sport Evidence (CASE) research programme and its outputs.

In this seminar, Harman Sagger, Economic Advisor to DCMS will present a new policy model
for the cultural agencies developed by the University of London’s Evidence in Policy and
Practice Information (EPPI) Centre and Matrix Knowledge Group, and discuss other CASE
Programme activities, including the modelling of Subjective Well-being for understanding
the economic impact of policy interventions.
