8. Tempus III * (debate and vote)
Mr Evans introduced his report, drawn up on behalf of the Committee on Culture, Youth, Education and the Media, on the proposal for a Council Decision adopting the third phase of the trans-European cooperation scheme for higher education − Tempus III (2000-2006) (COM(98)0454 − C4-0554/98 − 98/0246(CNS)) (A4-0464/98). He also announced that ams. 10, 11 and 12 by the committee responsible had been withdrawn. The following spoke: Mr Christodoulou, draftsman of the opinion of the Committee on Budgets, Mrs Hawlicek, on behalf of the PSE Group, Mrs Banotti, on behalf of the PPE Group, Mrs Ryynanen, on behalf of the ELDR Group, Mr Kerr, ¨ on behalf of the V Group, Mr Lukas, Non-attached Member, Mr Cushnahan, Mr Virrankoski and Mr Papoutsis, Member of the Commission.
