Physical Attributes 25-35 yrs old
Male/female
Stands on bare feet at a minimum of 4’11” for FEMALES and
5’3” for MALES
Weighs proportionately to height
Able to see clearly at close, distant, peripheral, and deep vision
Able to adjust focus
Able to distinguish colors correctly
Possesses an unblemished complexion
Hears normally, unaided
Exhibits a healthy and physically fit body
Possesses a complete set of teeth
Possesses a pleasant voice that is soothing to the ears
Possesses a polished and professional appearance
Demonstrates high standards of personal hygiene
Knowledge College graduate
Two years experience necessary
Reads and writes in order to cope with everyday adult life
Stores, retains, and recalls information and experiences
Operates office equipment such as calculators, computers, and
telephones
Knows locations and major city routes
Knows local attractions
Keeps abreast with local and national current affairs

9. Ensures that all used equipment and supplies are
cleaned and returned to their correct storage place in good
working condition
10. Ensures that all equipment and supplies are used
properly, prudently and not abused
11. Keenly observes any strange, untoward situations or
behavior and reports the same to designated proper
authority immediately
12. Reports any damage or problems with the guest room
and room equipment using a Maintenance work order and
routing the work order to the Maintenance & Engineering
Division
13. Ensures maximum security of all areas under your
control paying particular attention to valuable assets
14. Aware of all statutory regulations affecting safety and
ensures that any safety hazard is rectified
15. Ensures effective communications by attending meetings
as required
16. Orders supplies as assigned by the Executive
Housekeeper
17. Ensures that all guest rooms meet the established
standards of cleanliness to assure guest satisfaction and
maximize revenue
18. Supervises, trains, supports, and monitors room
attendants
19. Ensures that rooms services are completed in a first-class
manner
20. Assigns daily tasks to the room attendants
21. Inspects and ensures all rooms have been assigned and
serviced each day; coaches room attendants as required
22. Assists the Executive Housekeeper managing the staff
company goals and objectives
23. Evaluates Room Attendants on their job performance
according to the hotel standards; when necessary, take
appropriate action (retraining, etc.) to ensure that their job
performance is at a high quality level
24. Communicates to the Front Desk all vacant and clean
rooms, the completion of guest requests, and room status
discrepancies; the Front Desk will give the Housekeeping
Supervisor all room moves, late check-outs, and additional
guest requests for appropriate follow-up action by the
Housekeeping Supervisor
25. Closes the Housekeeping office at the end of the shift
such as:
a) collecting all Lost & Found items,
b) entering the information in the Lost & Found Log, and
c) securing the items in a locked cabinet;
d) collecting the room cleaners assignment sheets and
confirming the room status;
e) confirming the work schedule with the room cleaners
for the following day;
f) collecting the room cleaners floor keys and securing
them in the locked key cabinet;
g) completing a written Housekeeping report of all the
hotel’s guest room status for the Front Desk at the end
of the shift;
h) filing all daily report forms in the file cabinet;
i) securing the Housekeeping office and locking the door
when departing for the day
26. Answers the Housekeeping department’s telephone
using friendly and proper telephone techniques
27. Prepares inspection report with the status of all guest
rooms at the beginning of the shift; this includes all guest
requests, out of order rooms, and show rooms for the day
28. Inspects all guest check-out rooms for cleanliness,
appropriate guest amenities, and the correct working
condition of all guest room equipment
29. Reports any substandard conditions of the guest room to
the Executive Housekeeper
30. Checks the hotel’s computer for information concerning
room status and to enter updated room status
31. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
by the Executive Housekeeper as the contingency may
require
