Jazzercise 2010 Thanksgiving Breast Cancer Benefit

We associate the number “thirteen,” if we are prone to superstition, with worrying and yet often illusory threats. It is also the number of a “Baker’s Dozen,” which is paradoxically a sign of generosity. We have to take the thirteenth Jazzercise of Niantic Benefit Fundraiser in support of Breast Health and Breast Cancer Awareness in the latter sense, and in this spirit applaud your generosity in helping to fund factual, scientific research and survivor support. Breast cancer is no superstition; it is a killing fact. Your contributions will help to confront and overcome this fearsome disease. Our focus in this benefit is made the more real in that we count? Jazzercisers who are breast-cancer survivors. Your gifts reflect the awareness that exists in the greater New London community for so threatening an illness. In truth, what you gave allows us to go beyond dollars and cents and to address human needs. You, as supporting merchants, organizations and individuals, and those who came to the Buckley Gym at the Williams School on Thanksgiving morning, indicate the determination to work together to find a cure. Those survivors who attended the morning program serve as an example of what can be done and the effect that the support of this program has. Your generosity now and in the past makes a direct impact on the lives of those around us. My thanks again for your help in making our benefit a success. Sincerely, Rosanne "Cookie" DelBiondo Jazzercise Fitness Center 11-C Freedom Way Niantic, CT 06357
