The Gose! E"a!ted

1
Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
2
which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy criptures,
!
concerning His on, who birth placed Him in the genealogy of "avid according to the flesh,
#
who the $ather had declared the on of God with power by the resurrectionfrom the dead, according to the pirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our %ord,
&
through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sa(e,
)
among whom you also have received the calling of Jesus Christ*
+
to all who have become the beloved of God in ome, called as saints Grace to you and peace from God our $ather and the %ord Jesus Christ.
/
$irst, 0 than( my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because people proclaim your faith throughout the whole world.
$or God, whom 0 serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His on, witnesses as to how unceasingly 0 ma(e mention of you,
1
always in my prayers ma(ing re3uest, if perhaps now at last by the will of God 0 may succeed in coming to you.
11
$or 0 long to see you so that 0 may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may become established*
12
namely, that 0 may receive encouragement together with you while amongyou, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.

1!
0 do not want you to remain ignorant, brethren, that often 0 have planned to come to you 4but something has prevented me so far5 so that 0 may obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.
1#
0 feel under obligation both to Gree(s and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
1&
o, for my part, 0 eagerly reach the gospel to you also who live in ome.
1)
$or 0 do not feel ashamed of the gospel, for it brings the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Gree(.
1+
$or in it the righteousness of God has become revealed from faith to faith*as the scriptures declare, 6 789 9H: 0GH9:;8 man H<%% %0=: 7> $<09H.6

1/
$or the wrath of God has emanated from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
1
because that people (now about God they see within them* for God made it evident to them.
2
$or since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, people have clearly seen, understanding through what God has made, so that they have no e?cuse.
21
$or even though they (new God, they did not honor Him as God or give than(s, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart dar(ened.
22
Professing to have wisdom, they became fools,
2!
and e?changed the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
2#
9herefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would suffer dishonor among them.
2&
$or they e?changed the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who we blessed forever. <men.

2)
$or this reason God gave them over to degrading passions* for their women e?changed the natural function for that which we deem unnatural,
2+
and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
2/
<nd @ust as they did not see fit to ac(nowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which we do not consider proper,
2
filled themselves with all unrighteousness, wic(edness, greed, evil* full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice* they gossip,
!
slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
!1
without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful*
!2
and although they (now the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things ma(e themselves worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

1
9herefore you have no e?cuse, everyone of you who passes @udgment, for in that which you @udge another, you condemn yourself* for you who @udge practice the same things.
2
<nd we (now that the @udgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
!
7ut do you suppose this, ; man, when you pass @udgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the  @udgment of GodA
#
;r do you thin( lightly of the riches of His (indness and tolerance and patience, not (nowing that the (indness of God leads you to repentanceA
