“Are you sure you don’t want to go,

Alex?” Mom asked me again.

I rolled my eyes and read my book as I

shifted in my green bed.

“I’m sure, mom. I’ll be fine. I can last a

week without you.” I shrugged.

“Yeah! Mom, she can handle herself!”

my older sister Brenda yelled as she
packed her stuff.

Mom patted my leg and frowned.

“Okay, I left money downstairs. I put

emergency numbers on the fridge and
make sure you lock the doors before you
go to sleep.” She warned.
“Yes, mother.” I said sarcastically with
another roll of my eyes.

She grumbled something under her

breath then walked away. I heard them
all leave out the door and our mini van
drive away.

I sighed.

I was glad they were gone. I put down

my book and went downstairs to look in
the fridge.

Today was the beginning of Spring

Break.

Of course my family wanted to go to

freaking Disneyland but I denied.
Not that I don’t love my family, it’s just
that I don’t like them.

That’s okay...right?

I left a post on my Facebook.

Bored out of my mind! I know everyone

is gone, but I need HELP!

I walked to the bathroom and ran a hand

thru my light brown hair that had a hint
of golden blonde. I had black streaks
going thru the bang and the rest of my
hair.

I wouldn’t call myself the hottest girl

alive, but I was pretty good-looking.

My chocolate brown eyes appraised my

curvy, but slim form.
I put on a pair of short shorts and a pink
hoodie that said:

 I Love Hugs! 
 But Don’t Hug Me 

I sat down on my couch and flipped thru

channels.
I must have dozed off because I woke up
to the doorbell.

I sighed and lifted myself off the couch

to answer it.

I opened it and my mouth hung open.

There stood Beck.

Of course Beck and I used to be best

friends...until he got a girlfriend.
Honestly, he blew me off and I was little
pissed.

He was leaning against my door with his

careless swagger.
His light brown eyes were covered by his
sunglasses. His hair was jet black and
straight.

He was wearing a gray tank top that was

tight against his chest.

He had a red plaid long sleeve shirt over

it that reached his elbows.

He had on fitting dark gray jeans with

black converses.

A silver chain was hanging from his belt.

Of course he had on his easy trademark

smirk.
I frowned and crossed my arms, waiting
for his excuse for being here. He smirked
again and held up his phone.

“I got your plea for help on Facebook so

I said why not come over and say hello.”
He shrugged.

“Hello. And goodbye.” I started to close

the door, but his converse stopped the
door.
I growled as he made his way into my
house.

“May I ask why your mad at me?” he

asked with confusion and raised brows.

“Oh, you really don’t know?” I asked

sarcastically.

“No, I don’t.” he said.

“You completely ignore me.” I pouted.

“What?” he asked.

“When you started dating Taylor you

didn’t talk to me once. Not even a hello
in the hallway.” I frowned.

Beck looked at me, stunned.

“I’m sorry. It’s just that Taylor doesn’t
like me hanging out with girls and I
didn’t want to hurt her.” He explained.

“So instead you hurt me?” I asked.

There was a short pause, until Beck

broke it.

“I’ll make it up to you.” he promised.

“And how are you going to do that?” I

asked.

“I’m going to take you to go get some

fro yo.” He grinned.

“Fro yo?” I asked.

“Frozen yogurt.” He shrugged.

I frowned.

I thought about it for a second then

huffed.

“Fine, let me get my shoes.” I grumbled.

Beck grinned. “I’ll drive.”

Beck

“Alex, it’s not a life shattering decision!

Just pick one.” I sighed as I watched her
look thru the glass at the yogurts.

“But it is, Beck! I don’t know when I’ll

feel like going out of the house again. I
have to make this count!” she huffed as
her chocolate eyes scanned the fruity
flavors.
Sliding my Moco Cocoa Vanilla Bean
fro yo in my mouth, I watched Alex from
the corner of my eye as she made a move
for the counter, seeming to know what
she wanted.

“Hey Tim,” she responded to the worker

she seemingly knew, “I’ll have the
usual.”

He nodded and scooped up some

chocolate mush to plop it into a small
cup. He added a spoon with a paper
towel under it.

“Thanks,” Alex smiled.

“What happened to making it count?” I

asked with a smirk.
She shrugged.

She skipped over to a table outside.

I sat down next to her and ate my yogurt.

“Am I forgiven?” I asked with a grin.

She looked up at me and smiled slightly.

“Yes, but only for buying me this yogurt.

It’s to die for!” she dug into it again.

“Oh, really?” I teased as scooped another

spoon full of yogurt in my mouth.

She rolled her eyes.

“Yes, really, Beck. Here! Try it.” She

smirked as she dug her spoon in her
yogurt and came up with a giant plop of
goop.

“No way. I am perfectly fine eating my

own—” I was cut off by her glob of
yogurt in my mouth.

She smiled smugly and retracted her

spoon from my mouth as I tried not to
swallow the chocolate.

“Why?” I asked, not swallowing.

“Just taste it.” She snapped.

I sighed and let my taste buds actually

work. I smacked on the yogurt and it
wasn’t that bad.

I swallowed as Alex watched me with

her wide chocolate eyes.
“Well?” she prompted.

I felt my eyebrows knit together to tease

her.

“Not bad, A, but I wouldn’t become an

addict over it.” I shrugged as I dug my
spoon in my yogurt and ducked it into
my mouth.

She rolled her eyes.

“Well, B, I don’t see you flagging that

fro yo off like it’s a prize—”

She was cut off this time by me sliding

my spoon in her mouth.
Her eyes widened as I swiped the plastic
utensil away and put it back in my fro
yo.

I watched her expression with a cocked

brow.

First, her cute face puckered then relaxed

as she swallowed the goop. She looked
up at me.

“Well?” I prompted, mocking her.

She rolled her eyes and wiped her pouty

lips with her rough paper towel.

I waited.

“Not bad, B, but I wouldn’t become an

addict over it.” She smirked, quoting me.
I rolled my eyes at her as we packed our
stuff up and left.

We started walking down the busy L.A.

streets.

“Hey, let’s switch sunglasses.” Alex

suddenly said.

“What? Why?” I asked.

“Because your glasses are awesome and

mine are just...me. So let’s switch.” She
shrugged as she reached for my $120
glasses.

I sighed.

I could trust her...right?

I handed her my pair as she slid me her
tiny ones.

She put them over her chocolate eyes,

the glasses were obviously too big for
her face, but she looked adorable.

She made a fake pout and I laughed as I

put her glasses on top of my head,
pushing my hair back.

“Do I look very Beck-ish?” she asked.

“Yes, very me-ish. How about me? Am I

rocking the rhinestones?” I asked
sarcastically.

“Oh, yeah.” She gave me the thumbs up.

“Hey, I don’t know why I stopped
hanging out with you, Alex. You’re
awesome.” I smiled at her.

She grinned.

“A is for awesome.” She shrugged with a

smirk.

I smiled widely as we started to my car.

I started driving as Alex played with her

phone.

“What do you suggest we do now?” I

asked.

She glanced at the dashboard and

frowned.
“It’s getting late.” She said. “How about
a movie? Are there any good ones out?”

I shook my head.

“No, Taylor and I have seen them all.”

As soon as I said those words, I regretted

them.

Alex’s face fell and she looked out the

window.

I sighed as we drove in silence. I

swerved the car into a video store’s
parking lot.

She frowned.

“Why are we here?” she asked with

knitted eyebrows.
“We’re seeing a movie.” I smirked as I
got out of the car.

She rolled her eyes, but followed me into

the store.

She walked into the store and obliviously

ignored horny guys as they watched her
ass swing from side to side.

I felt a tiny bit of jealously.

But why would I feel like that? She isn’t

mine.

Alex started looking thru the sections of

comedies as I went to gaze at the horror
films.
I found Halloween II. I had wanted to
see this, but Taylor was afraid of scary
movies.

Maybe Alex is too...

I started to put it back when I heard her

voice behind me.

“Oh my God! I have wanted to see this

movie! I love scary movies.” She grinned
as I turned to her.

I was shocked. She loved them?

I grinned. “Great, let’s get it.”

She smiled back. “A is for..?”

I rolled my eyes. “Awesome.”

“And don’t you forget it.”

We started towards the counter and

rented the movie.

We ended up at my house and got settled

on the couch.

Alex put her head on my shoulder as I

wrapped and arm around her.
She soon got cold so I wrapped a blanket
around her.

She didn’t flinch or anything thru the

whole movie.

I felt her body relax against mine and her

get closer. Her breathing slowed and I
looked down at her.
She was asleep. I brushed her bangs from
her face.

That movement made her squirm and

make an adorable face as she fell into my
lap.

I was shocked for a second then smiled.

I messed with strands of her hair until I

succumbed to sleep.

I woke up a while later and blinked my

eyes to see clearly. It was super dark
since the TV was off.

My hands went to my lap where I felt

movement and landed on something soft.
I squeezed then turned bright red when I
figured out it was Alex’s ass.

I quickly moved my hands, but came

across something hard. It was in her back
pocket.

Her phone.

I slowly slipped my hand in her pocket

and retracted it. I flipped open her phone
and squinted at the sudden light.

It blinked:

5:51am.

I sighed and put it on the end table next

to the couch.
I felt Alex shift with me then heard her
groan.

“Beck...?” she called, her voice raw from

sleep.

“Yeah?” I answered.

“You still there?” her voice was a little

clearer.

“Yup.” I grinned.

“Oh. What time is it?” she asked

groggily.

“Almost six.” I shrugged.

I could see her white teeth in the

darkness.
“Nice.” She grinned.

She rolled off my lap and I felt empty

without her warmth.

I frowned as she scurried on the ground

and crawl to the back of my couch.

I heard her hit her head on something

and her silent curse.

I raised my eyebrows and frowned. I was

surprised by her slight potty mouth.

“What is so ‘nice’ about being up at six

in the morning?” I asked as I turned to
watch her dark form.

She opened the back door that was

connected to my kitchen.
The light from the sun hit my face in tiny
specks.

“Because, the sun is always out at six.”

She turned to me with a big smile, “Isn’t
it beautiful?” she turned back to the sun.

I walked over and shoved my hands into

my pockets.

I glanced back at Alex.

Her hair was shining until it looked like

the sun. Her dark streaks turning white
when touched by the light.

Her eyes looked strangely sunset orange

in the sun.

I smiled.
“Yes, it is.” I said, not looking away
from her.

She turned to smile at me then yawned.

She looked for her phone and I handed it
to her.

“Hey, wasn’t this is my back pocket...?”

she asked.

“No!” I said defensively.

She laughed and checked the time. She

frowned and yawned again as she ran a
hand thru her hair.

“I should get home.” She groaned as she

grabbed her stuff.
She turned to me and looked shyly down
at my glasses she had burrowed. She
looked at me from her long lashes.

God! What is this girl doing to me?

“Here.” She held them up. I frowned and

pushed her outstretched hand away.

“Keep them...for now.” I said with a

smirk as I readjusted her glasses on my
head.

She smiled and replaced them on her

head.

“Thanks, yesterday was...awesome.” she

smiled.

“Well, that’s what A is for.” I shrugged.

She laughed as we walked to the door.

“See ya, B.” she smiled as she started

away.

“See ya, A.” I called back as she

disappeared around the corner.

Alex

I walked down the streets of the Gather

Market. I loved coming here.

People decorated the streets with there

carts of foods and accessories.

I ended up getting a necklace for Beck. It

was wooden and was a shape of a turtle.
I sighed as I stopped in front of a guy.
He was making a work of art on the
sidewalk.

“Wow, this is awesome!” I exclaimed.

“That’s what A is for.” The painter

shrugged.

I smiled at Beck as he put the outline on

his work. People were passing, looking
at his art with amazement.
I smiled down at him. He turned to
glance at me and looked down at my
hand.

“What’cha got there?” he asked as he

stood up and dusted his hands off.

I looked down at my hand and smiled as

I raised my eyes to him to see my shiny
glasses still on his head.

“Just something I saw. It reminded me of

you.” I handed it to him.
He smiled and twisted it.

“Are you calling me slow?” he asked

with a grin.

I rolled my eyes.

“I’m just kidding, I love it. I think I’ll

start wearing it right now.” He clasped it
around his neck.

“Where’s my present?” I joked.

He smiled and turned back to his work.

“I’ll give it to you later.” He bent down

to it to start outlining again.

It suddenly started raining and I

squealed.
Beck smiled up at me as his hair started
sticking to his handsome face.

He grabbed my hand and led me to small

pub. We stood under the small roof in
front of the door.

He smiled down at me and brushed the

hair out of my eyes. I felt my breath get
stuck in my throat. I blushed and looked
down.

I tried to lighten the mood.

“I didn’t know you knew how to draw.” I

smirked as I turned to look at the soaking
art.
“Taylor doesn’t like my pictures. She
finds them stupid, she said to draw her.”
He shrugged.

I frowned, but immediately perked up.

“I have to go save your painting.”

I started to go towards the flowing work.

Beck grabbed me before I even left his
side as we laughed together.

“It isn’t worth it.” He smiled.

I frowned. I pressed my hand to his

cheek.

“Trust me. Your work is worth it.” I said

seriously.
He grinned and grabbed my hand that
rested on his cheek.

He pulled me from under the roof and

started running towards his car.

“Now what did you want to show me?” I

asked as we stepped into a room.

Beck grinned and turned on the light.

And there was his work. One that I loved
was the giant rose.
He picked up the board and held up to
me with a smile.

“Rose for your thoughts.” He smiled.

I smiled widely back at him.

“This is beautiful...” I whispered.

After a while we were on his bedroom
floor making art.

He was actually finger painting. But it

wasn’t that kind of finger painting.

He said that painting with your fingers

makes it more beautiful because it’s
made from the body.

This was the second day I had spent with

Beck.

I was sleeping on the couch when my

phone rang. I sighed and flipped it open.

“Hello?” I answered groggily.

“I’ll be over in five.” Beck said into the
phone.

“KK.” I sighed and snapped the phone

shut.

I left the front door unlocked and sat

back down on the couch.

This was the third day I spent Beck.

We’ve been seeing each other constantly.

My phone rang again and I pressed it to

my ear.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Yeah, I need you to do something for

me.” my sister, Brenda, said into the
phone.
I groaned. “Die?”

“No, don’t be so dark.” She scolded.

“Why are you so optimistic?” I asked.

“What?” she asked.

“How are you in 12th grade?!” I

exclaimed.

“Will you get back to the point?” she

asked impatiently.

“Which was?”

“Getting my shoes.” She said.

“What shoes?” I asked.

“My new Gucci shoes I got. Their gold
and have sequins on them.”

I sighed. I got up from the couch and

headed upstairs, to her room.

“And let me guess...you want me to burn

them?” I asked with an evil smile.

“No! I want you to find them and tell me

the size, silly.” She said.

I scowled and walked into her pink

room. I looked thru the piles of shoes.

I let out a groan when I saw another pile.

I was so wrapped up in Brenda

complaining and me searching, that I
didn’t hear Beck open the door or walk
in.
“What’cha doing?” said the slow smooth
drawl in the doorway, behind me.

I jumped and screamed as I threw the

shoe I had in my hand at him.

He didn’t even flinch as it narrowly

missed his head.

He walked into the room, an easy smile

on his face.

“Jesus, Beck!” I yelled as I pounded a

hand over my erratic heart.

He smirked and kneeled down beside

me.

I cringed when I heard Brenda yelling in

my ear.
“What’s going on?! Are there robbers?!
OMG! Alex save the shoes!!” she
screamed.

I rolled my eyes and hung up on her.

“So what are you doing?” he asked again

as he fiddled with a shoe.

“I’m trying to find gold Gucci shoes with

a bunch of crap on it.” I shrugged.

He looked around the room.

“So this is your room. A little girlier

than I would have imagined, but hey, to
each your own.” He shrugged as though
it didn’t care what my room looked like.
“No, this is not my room.” I grumbled.
“Dow the hall on the right.”

He left as quietly as he came. I started

searching again so I didn’t hear him
come in.

“Nice.” He grinned. I jumped a foot in

the air.

“Would you stop that?” I asked.

“Sorry.” He shrugged. “What are we

looking for again?”

“Shoes, gold, crap.” I said.

“Oh yeah.”
He looked back at the doorway where
the shoe I threw at him earlier was
wedged in the wall.

He smiled back at me. “Nice arm.”

“Thanks.” I said.

He walked over to the shoe and pulled it

out.

“Is this it?” he questioned.

I sighed with relief.

“Yes.”

I grabbed the other pair and texted my

sister the size.

I turned back to Beck.

“What do you want to do today?” I just
realized he was sweating. I frowned.

“Are you hot?” I asked.

“Why yes I am, and thanks for the

compliment.” He smirked smugly.

I rolled my eyes.

“No, why are you sweating?” I asked.

“I believe it happens when the human

body gets over heated and needs
coolness.” He said.

I growled.

“You...you...!” I sputtered.
“I believe we’re mammals.” He smirked.

“Beck, are you overheated?!” I

screamed.

“Yeah, I was burning up outside. They

said it’s like 109.” He said.

He suddenly looked at me intently then

frowned.

He pressed his hand against my forehead

and my arm.

“Your not sweating.” He stated.

“Yeah...” I said.

“Aren’t you overheated?”

“Yeah.”
“Then why aren’t you sweating?”

“Because I don’t sweat.” I shrugged.

“What do you mean ‘you don’t sweat’?”

“I think it’s gross so I don’t do it.”

“Everyone sweats.”

“I don’t.” I shrugged as I turned away

from him.

“Okay, well I bet you today I can make

you sweat.” He said smugly.

I frowned.

“Doesn’t that sound kind of gross to

you?” I asked.
“No, how about we go to the beach
tomorrow?” he asked with a smirk.

“You said it was hot.” I protested.

“Are you backing down?” he asked.

I squared my shoulders. “No.”

“Good, see you tomorrow.”

We got into his dad’s car (they

apparently took his mom’s), with his
crappy RV behind us.

I stayed in the RV, reading a magazine;

the small space looked like a typical
teenage boy room. With a couch and bed
and little kitchen area.
The RV came to an abrupt halt and the
door opened. Beck smiled brightly at me
and closed the door.

“You ready?” he asked.

“Yeah sure, let me grab my stuff.” I

grinned and grabbed my bag.

Beck smiled and turned to the door. I

followed after him and squinted my eyes
at the sun.

He set up an umbrella and towels.

I took off my tank and shorts to reveal

my red bathing suit.

It had ties on the side. It wasn’t a bikini

luckily, but I swear I saw Beck swallow.
I smiled and skipped over to him.

“I’ll never sweat.” I laughed.

He grinned and took off his baggy button

down shirt.

I couldn’t help myself from looking at

his six pack.

I turned away before he could see me

and sat down on the towels, putting his
glasses over my face.

I saw Beck start to swim and play in the

water.

Suddenly, this tan guy came over and sat

next to me.
“Sup.” He greeted.

I smiled at him.

“Not much. I’m Alex.”

I held out my hand and he brought up to

his lips to kiss gently.

Beck

I ducked in the water then came back up

to invite Alex in.

My smile immediately disappeared as I

saw a guy take her hand and kiss it.

She flushed and snatched her hand away.

He grinned cockily at her.
I felt jealously boil in me and I walked
over to them.

“A, are you going to swim?” I asked thru

clenched teeth.

“Um, actually, I was going to go get a

snow cone with James.” she said.

I frowned and glanced at the guy.

He was staring back at me with guarded

eyes.

“No, that’s fine. I’ll swim alone.” I

growled.

“No, I’ll swim; I came to spend time

with you Beck. I’ll see you around,
James.” she stood up.
James frowned, but walked away.

“Your pretty loyal.” I smirked.

“And your pretty jealous.” She grinned.

“What? I am not.” I said.

“You were.”

“Of what?”

“That my attention wasn’t on you.” she

said smugly.

I sighed and looked at the ocean.

I smiled tightly and quickly grabbed her

by the waist.
“Beck! NO!” she screamed as I carried
her to the body of water.

I went in, waist deep. She clung to me in

a death grip, her small, warm hands on
my neck, and her legs tight around my
waist.

“To get wet you have to be in water, A.

Get in.” I ordered.

“No, B. I’m not getting in that icky

water! What if there’s nasty stuff in
there?” she asked in panic.

“There’s no icky stuff. Don’t worry.” I

smiled.

She sighed and let go of my waist. She

slowly lowered herself to water and
jumped lightly at the temperature.
Then she relaxed and smiled up at me.

“It’s not that bad.” She shrugged.

“Exactly.” I smiled.

“And I’m not sweating.” She teased.

I frowned.

After a while, we got back on our towels.

We watched the sunset together.

I grabbed a red apple and sat up.

My baggy button up was open; the

breeze hitting my chest.
“Hey, Alex, how do you feel about me
and Taylor?” I asked as I bit into my
apple.

She was taken aback by my question.

“Um, I think your really cute together.”

she shrugged.

“You do? Why?” I asked with raised

brows as I bounced my apple from hand
to hand.

“You know...because...she’s awesome?”

I frowned.

“She’s not very nice.” I shrugged. “Even

to me.” I bit into my apple again.
“Oh c’mon. She had to do something
nice for you. How about your birthday?”
she asked desperately.

I stopped chewing and looked her dead

in the eye with all seriousness.

“She bought me a can of lemonade.” I

said.

She frowned.

“Wow.”

“Yeah...”

We soon left after an hour. We packed

the stuff and I purposely turned off the
air conditioner even though it was 109.
She got in the front with me and sat in
shotgun.

I smiled her way as she shifted

uncomfortably.

After an half an hour she suddenly

screamed. I looked at her, shocked and
pulled over.

“What is it?” I asked.

“S-something is drip-dripping on me!”

she cried.

I put my hand under the roof, but nothing

dripped. I frowned.

“Nothing’s dripping on you.” I said.

“No! It is! On my forehead and my arms!
See?” she held out her arm and I held
back a smirk.

“Your sweating.” I said simply.

“No! No, I don’t sweat!” she screamed.

She started going into hysterics and I

grabbed the tops of her arms.

“Alex...Alex...Alex...Alex! ALEX,
LOOK AT ME!” I screamed.

She looked up at me with frantic eyes.

This is really funny.

“You’re sweating.” I said simply.

She let out a choked sob and fell to my
chest. I smirked, victoriously.

“You know this means I win the bet,

right?” I asked.

She looked up to glare at me then

grumbled.

“Whatever. But we never speak of this.”

she hissed.

“Fine.” I shrugged.

Alex

Today was Friday, the last day of spring

break, all the families start coming back
home tomorrow.

I sighed.
This would be my last day to hang with
Beck since my family and friends were
coming back.

Beck was popular and I hung out with a

different crowd.

This was all a fairytale.

I got up from my bed and ran a hand thru

my hair. I put it in a ponytail and started
to get up.

I glanced at my window as I passed it.

A few trees, my green lawn, lawn

ornaments, flowers, Beck’s car in the
street.
Nothing out of the ordinary...Wait! What
is Beck doing here?

I quickly put on some small shorts and

headed outside.

“What are you doing here?” I asked as I

neared him.

He had his hands buried in his pockets

and he frowned slightly at my greeting.

“Hi Beck, how are you? Just fine, Alex

thanks for asking.” He said.

“Good morning, Beck.” I smiled.

“Good afternoon, Alex.” He smirked.

“What are you doing here?” I asked

again.
He shrugged.

“My car is dirty.” He said.

I shrugged. “So...?”

“It needs cleaning.” He said simply.

“Yeah...?” I frowned.

“Let’s clean it.” He smirked.

I thought about it for a second. Then I

shrugged.

I have nothing else to do.

“KK. Let’s do it.”

We got car wash stuff and towels with
rags. I hooked up the hose and sprayed it
at the car.

I scrubbed the windows with Windex and

vacuumed out the car.

We sang some songs together making us

dance the same moves and move fluidly
with one another’s body.

Finally, after 3 hours we were done.

It took us so long because we were

always singing and dancing.

I dusted my soapy hands and smiled at

Beck. He shook my hand.

“We make a awesome team.” He

smirked.
“That’s what A is for.” I shrugged.

He laughed.

“What do we do now?” I asked.

“Well, it’s 7 o’clock so why don’t we go

dancing?” he asked.

“We’re not old enough to get in a club.

We’re sixteen.” I protested.

“Yes, but we can get into a teen club.”

He grinned.

I frowned back.

“I can’t dance.” I bluffed.

“Well, by the way you were moving five
minutes ago, I can see you can.” He
smiled.

I huffed then sighed, “Fine.”

I stood up and put on hand on my hip.

“This is not a date, right?” I asked.

“Nope, just two friends going out

together. And I mean, c’mon, I have a
girlfriend.”

That night, I curled my hair and left it

down.

I put on light eyeliner and lip gloss. I put

on a red dress. It was pretty, but causal.
“Okay, focus, Alex. This is not a date. It
is a friend going out with another friend.
Ugh! Then why does it feel so wrong?
And why am I saying this out loud?” I
asked myself.

I sighed and put on my silver heels. I

heard my doorbell ding.

I took a deep breath and walked

downstairs.

I opened the door and was in awe.

There was Beck with an easy grin on his
handsome tan face. His white teeth
standing out from his full pink lips. His
hair was naturally straight.

He was wearing a white button down

with a black tie that was loosely hanging
from his neck. Some dark jeans were
flowing over his long legs and his typical
converses were on his feet.

He took in my appearance and grinned

wider.

“Is it too much?” I asked timidly.

“No, no. You look great, A.” he smiled

and took my hand.

“Your not so bad yourself, B.” I grinned.

We got into his now clean car and
headed for something named Place.

I sat down at our small table, sipping on

my drink. I sighed when Beck finally
made it over. He had a hand full of girls’
numbers like I had with guys.

A lot of guys asked me to dance, but I

was waiting for the beautiful God in
front of me to ask.

Beck finally looked at me and offered his

hand. This may be the moment I wanted,
but also the one I had been dreading.

I placed my hand in his larger one and he

led me to the dance floor.
The song was Take It Off by Kesha and
we fell into the beat.

He was being funny, bumping his hips

with mine and yelling take it off.

After a while I loosened up, and then

turned rock solid when a slow song came
on.

I frowned with Beck, but he soon

shrugged and grabbed my hands.

He put them slowly on his shoulders then

put his on my waist. We rocked slowly
back and forth with the beat.

We got more comfortable and my hands

slipped up his neck and started playing
with his hair.
He smiled down at me and pulled me in
closer by the waist so he could circle his
arms around me.

He leaned down to whisper in my ear.

“You’re an awesome dancer, A.” he

whispered.

“A is for awesome.” I whispered back as

I felt his lips graze my ear.

I quivered under his touch and tightened

my grip on him.

The song changed, but we were too

wrapped up in eachother.

“You wanna get out of here?” he

whispered in my ear again.
I nodded quickly and grabbed his hand.
He laced his fingers with mine as we
hurried out of the club.

We ended up at the park; we lay down in

the wet grass, looking at the stars. It was
extremely dark; I could barely make him
out.

“Do you see The Ladle?” I asked.

“Yeeeee-No.” Beck said.

I punched him lightly in the shoulder,

laughing.

He grinned back and put his hands

behind his head.
“Hey, remember when I asked what you
thought about Taylor? What do you
really think?” he asked, not looking at
me.

I frowned.

“I think....she’s not right for you.” I

looked up at the stars, but I could feel his
chestnut gaze burning into my skin.

“And...Why is that?” he asked.

I shrugged again then turned to look at

him...I mean shape.

“She treats you like you can’t make your

own decisions. Sometimes I feel sorry
for you. I want...” I sighed and looked
down at the wet grass.
There was a long pause.

Suddenly, I felt his warm hands grab my

face and angle it to his.

I don’t know how he found my face, but

he did.

“Beck, what are you—” I was cut off by

the pressure of full, warm lips on mine.

I was shocked at first then fell into it. I

let my eyes flutter close as I leaned in,
eagerly. His lips parted my mouth and I
felt his tongue on mine.

Finally, my mind caught up with my lips

and made them freeze.

Even if we had a relationship, it would

never work. We were in different groups,
he was popular and I was his former
friend. I wasn’t in his crowd. And I never
could be.

Suddenly, tears were leaking down my

face.

I knew it was stupid, but I was scared of

being led on and heartbroken.

I broke apart from Beck’s lips.

He looked down at me, shocked. I

scrambled up and fixed my dress. Beck
was still frozen.

He finally snapped out of it and grabbed

my face.

“I-I’m so sorry.” I choked out.

“Don’t be. It was my entire fault.”

I looked into his brown eyes and

frowned as he wiped my tears with his
thumbs.

“I need to go.” I turned.

“Let me drive you.” he protested.

“I’m fine.” I whispered.

“Alex, please.”

“No, I need to go home. This. Us. Is

over. We can’t hang out anymore.” I
frowned.

“What?” hurt filled his eyes.

I felt guilt creep up, but I swallowed it
down.

“Go home.” I whispered.

“But—”

“Go home.” I said firmly.

He huffed and averted his gaze to the

ground.

I squared my shoulders and walked away

from Beck, my ex best friend.

For the rest of the weekend, as I

presumed, he didn’t call or come over.
I was saddened by this, but I was the one
who said for him to go.

My family came home and Brenda

immediately showed me everything she
bought, I zoned in and out.

When it was finally time to go to school,

I was scared. I was scared to face the
truth. I was scared to face Beck. And,
mostly, I was scared to face Taylor.

I straightened my hair and let my bangs

fall in my face. I put on a blue tank top
and gray skinny jeans. I grabbed my
black hoodie and converses.
Brenda was already ready. Her hair curly
and a short skirt was on her waist. She
frowned at me.

“What?” I asked, feeling self conscious.

“You’ll do.” She shrugged as we got in

the car.

I kept my head down as I walked thru the

halls.

“Hey, Alex.” My best friend, Haley said

to me.

She brushed back her red curly hair and

smiled brightly at me.
“Hey.” I greeted as we stopped at my
locker. I opened it and dug out my
books.

“How was your Spring Break?” she

asked.

I stiffened.

“I stayed here the whole time.” I

shrugged.
“Oh, really. I heard Beck Oliver stayed
too. You guys should have hung out.”
she said.

I frowned.

“I don’t think we would get along.” I

sighed.

“Didn’t you guys used to be friends?”

she asked.

“No, and we never will be.” I sighed.

“Sup, girls.” Andre, Derek, and Felix

showed up in front of us.

Andre had dark chocolate skin. His

lighter brown dreadlocks bounced with
every movement he made.
Derek was taller and kind of hot. He had
brown hair that reached his chin. He was
very strong and fairly tan.
Felix was Derek’s brother. They were
identical except Felix was taller and not
as tan.
“So...how was you Spring Break?”
Derek asked.

“Fine.” I answered quickly, causing

Andre to raise his eyebrows.

“Mine was awesome.” Haley grinned as

she walked away.
“That’s what A is for.” I sighed.

Derek and Felix headed to class.

“So, how was your SB really?” Andre

asked.

I was startled and looked away as I

closed my locker.

I started walking, but he followed after

me.

“It was fine.” I shrugged.

“Was it really? Was it not better than

fine?” he asked with a sly grin.

“What are you talking about?” I asked as

I turned to him.
“I stayed home over the break.” He
shrugged.

“Really? Why didn’t you tell me, we

could have hung out.” I said.

“Well, I was, but you seemed just fine

without me.” he grinned.

The blood drained from my face as I

watched my dreadlock friend with wide
eyes.

“You know that I hung out with—”

“—Beck. I saw you at the beach and

video store and club.”

He smirked as he took out his phone. He

pressed some buttons and showed it to
me.
My eyes focused on the picture of Beck
and I on the beach. I was clutching on
him, my hands around his neck and my
legs wrapped around his waist as he
smirked down at me.

The next was Beck and I in the video

store. I was looking down at a video,
oblivious to Beck’s caramel gaze that
was far from friendship.

The next was him and me in the club.

We were wrapped up in each other, my
head lying against his chest.

I looked back up at Andre as the pictures

disappeared.

“Where did you get those?” I asked with

a shaky voice.
“Well, I guess I was at the wrong place
at the right time.” He shrugged.

I frowned. I started walking away. He

grabbed my arm.

“So, this means you’re together?” he

asked.

“No, he’s still with Taylor.” I replied.

“So that means...”

“Yes...”

“That means you two...”

“Yes.”

“No.”
“Yes.”

“No!”

“Yes!”

“No—”

“YES! Andre! We kissed!” I yelled out

in frustration.

He looked at me, shocked.

“Oh my God! I can’t believe it.” He

muttered to himself.

“Don’t act weird around him. He knows

I hang out with you and he’ll know
something’s up.” I pleaded quickly.
“He’s my friend—” I handed him a
twenty, cutting him off.

“And now money is too,” he smirked.

“Good.” I smiled and headed to class.

Beck

“Oh, Beck, I missed you so much.”

Taylor kissed me and thru back her

blonde hair. She was tanner than the last
time.

I frowned and closed my locker.

She wrapped her arms around my waist

and leaned into my ear.

“What’s wrong, baby?” she asked.

I pushed her arms off of me. I sighed and
turned to her.

She looked at me with her wide blue

eyes.

I couldn’t take it.

They weren’t the beautiful brown eyes I

had come to love.

“Nothing,” I muttered.

Soon lunch came around. I sat down

outside where Taylor and I usually sat.

When I saw Andre, I grinned and flagged

him down. He hesitantly came over and
sat with me.
“Wassup, man.” I smiled.

“You know...Alex.” He said quickly.

“What?” I asked.

“Nothing! I have to go.” He said quickly

and left.

I frowned.

That was weird.

For the rest of the day, I didn’t see

Andre. I needed to ask what the problem
was.
I desperately wanted to see Alex, but
every time I turned onto a hall she was
on, she immediately fled.

I saw Andre in the library and I went to

greet him.

“Andre!” I exclaimed, acting surprised to

see him.

“Oh, hey man.” He said as he browsed

the books, trying not to make eye contact
with me. “What are you doing here?”

“I’m just browsing, trying to see what

new facts I can learn.” I shrugged; my
cool demeanor getting under his skin.

“New facts, huh? I didn’t think of you as

one of those kinds of guys.” He said
nervously.
“I’m not really; I just like to be in the
loop so to speak, to be up with current
events.”

“Oh.” His face fell.

“Yeah.” I frowned at him.

“How current?”

“Very current.”

“And what do you consider ‘very

current’?”

“This morning.”

“Oh, really? What happened this

morning?” he asked.
“I think you should know. You were the
one running away.” I continued with
another shrug, acting as if I could care
less.

“Oh! No! I left my tuna in my car so I

had to go get it.” He laughed, nervously.

I found it odd that Andre was going all

this way to lie to me. I could usually trust
him with anything.

Whatever he didn’t want me to know

must be big.

“Yeah, tuna day! Gotta love those fish.”

I said with a fake bright smile.

I finally decided the best way to go was

honesty.
“Okay, Andre what’s going on?” I asked,
making him cease all movements.

“I should ask you the same thing.” He

countered.

I frowned.

“You really don’t know do you?” he

asked.

I shook my head. He sighed and took out

his phone.

After the slide show of Alex and me, I

looked up at him with wide eyes.

“Where did you get these?” I asked.

“That’s exactly what Alex said.” He
sighed as he tucked his phone in his
pocket.

“You showed Alex?” I hissed.

“I had to. She’s messed up man. You

have to talk to her.” He said.

I sighed and banged my head on the

bookshelf.

“I know.”

“Then do it.”

At 5th period I started down to Alex’s

locker.
She immediately saw me and started to
run up the stairs.

“Alex!” I yelled after her.

“Leave me alone!” she called back.

I followed after, but she turned around

and went back down as students watched
us curiously.

“Alex! C’mon!” I yelled.

“No!” I grabbed her by the tops of her

arms and she started screaming.

“TEEEEEEACHER! I NEED A
TEACHER! STRANGER DANGER!”
she shrieked.
Suddenly, Ms. Brown, our science
teacher, passed us and smiled.

“Can you believe I got a promotion?”

she smiled.

We watched her with knitted eyebrows

as she left the scene.

She huffed and fell to the ground. I

tugged her arm, trying to make her rise,
but she just complained and tried to fight
against my grip.

Her legs tangled with mine and I fell on

top of her. She started screaming again
as I tried to pin her flying limbs.

“Alex! Your acting like a baby!” I

complained.
“Get off!” she yelled back.

We started wrestling as Alex started

screaming again and I sighed.

This was tiring.

I finally got off of her and grabbed her

legs. Her brown eyes widened and she
tried to get out of my grip.

“LET GO! OH, C’MON, BECK!” she

screamed. “You HAVE to be kidding!”

“I’m not!” I yelled back as I dragged her

to a custodian closet.

“NO!” she tried to claw herself away.

All the students stared at us with wide

eyes, but I quickly reassured us.
“It’s okay, she enjoys this!” I smiled
brightly at them as Alex kicked her feet.

She screamed at the students, holding out

a hand as I dragged her inside the closet.

I rolled my eyes at her actions.

I let go of her feet and flicked on the

light.

She scrambled to her feet, but I blocked

her way to the door.

“Let me out!” she ordered.

I shook my head.

She sighed.
Alex kept her eyes down and crossed her
arms over her chest. I frowned and
grabbed her face.

“Don’t touch me.” she muttered, weakly.

I ignored her demand and tilted her chin

up to look at me.

“Alex. I’m sorry.” I whispered.

Finally, she cracked and tears started

going down her cheeks.

She fell into my chest and I wrapped my

arms around her.

“Shh...” I shushed her.

“It-it’s all my fault.” She cried.

I pulled back to look at her.

“It’s not your fault. I shouldn’t have

kissed you. I just looked at you then you
look so beautiful and—”

She put a finger on my lips.

“Can’t you see the problem? This is why

we can’t be friends. Friends don’t call
friends beautiful and kiss them.” She
ranted.

I frowned. I didn’t like the sound of me

and her not being friends. I instinctively
pulled her closer.

She looked up at me with confused eyes.

“I don’t like that idea.” I responded.

“Well, you’re going to have to.” She
sighed and backed away from my hold.

“I need you as a friend, Alex. Please.

Tell me what A is for? C’mon you know
it. A is for...?” I asked, eagerly.

“A...is for algebra.” She looked me dead

in the eyes. “I need to get to class, which
I need to get an A in.” she tried to pass
me.

“Alex, c’mon. Don’t do this.” I pleaded.

She looked up at me.

“Goodbye, Beck.” She whispered and

pushed pass me, her shoulder bumping
roughly with mine.
I heard the door open and close. I
crumbled to the ground. I destroyed our
friendship again.

I walked thru the halls; it was the end of

the day. The bell was about to ring in a
second. I wasn’t giving up on Alex.

I stopped by her last period (I got her

schedule from Andre).

The last bell rung and she was one of the

last students to leave.

She looked up at me and frowned. She

walked past me and I followed.

“Alex, c’mon. I still want to be friends.”

I said.
She turned to me.

“I can’t—” she stopped and looked

beside me, her eyes flashing with fear.

I looked to my side to see Taylor,

standing there with mad eyes. She glared
at Alex.

“Who is this?” she asked.

“This is Alex,” I said simply, “My

friend.”

“Friend?” Both girls asked at the same

time.

I turned to look at Alex.

“Yes, friend.” I smiled.

She couldn’t help but give a small smile
in return.

“What is that you have around your

neck?” Taylor asked suddenly as she
reached for the small necklace that Alex
had given me.

I glanced up at Alex as her smile grew.

“It’s a necklace.” I shrugged.

Taylor frowned and suddenly tore it off.

“Hey!” Alex and I both exclaimed.

Taylor turned to Alex and threw the

jewelry on the ground.

It didn’t break since it was made out of

wood, but it broke my heart.
“Taylor!” I hissed.

It slid in front of Alex and she fell down

to her knees. She took it carefully in her
hands then looked up to glare at Taylor.

“What is your problem?” she growled.

“You! You’re the problem. Stay away

from MY boyfriend.” She snarled thru
clenched teeth.

Alex glanced up at me as tears welled up

in her eyes then she stood up with a
strong face.

“You know what A is for today, Beck?”

she asked with an evil grin.

When I didn’t answer, she smiled wider.

“Taylor’s FAT ass!” she grounded out.

I grimaced as Taylor shook with anger. I

wrapped an arm around her waist before
she could attack.

“We should go...” I sighed and turned

away with Taylor thrashing in my arms.

Alex

I stomped to Andre’s locker and

slammed it shut when he tried to open it.

He sighed and turned to me.

I growled.
“A little birdie told me you ratted out to
Beck.” I snarled.

He frowned.

“Note to self: Never trust penguins.” He

joked.

I slammed him against his locker and

held up Beck’s necklace.

“What’s that?” he asked.

“The necklace I gave Beck and Taylor

tore off!” I yelled.

“Harsh.” He commented.

“I know right! Who stays with a girl like

that?” I yelled as we started walking.
“Obviously, Beck.” Andre agreed.

I sighed and tucked the necklace into my

pocket.

“I hate her.” I growled.

Andre laughed.

“Do you hate her or are you just

jealous?” he wiggled his eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes.

“I am not jealous. Besides, Beck and I

aren’t friends anymore.” I shrugged.

“We aren’t?” I heard Beck ask from

behind me.

Andre grinned and headed for class.

I growled then turned back to Beck.

“No.” I whispered.

“Alex, Taylor didn’t mean it—”

I sighed. I didn’t want to listen anymore.

I took the necklace out of my jeans

pocket and handed it to him.

“You can keep it if you want,” I

frowned, “It is yours anyway.”

He smiled up at me.

“I will—”

“—not.” Taylor finished for him and

handed it back to me.
I sighed and turned to her.

“I said to leave my boyfriend alone.” She

hissed.

“And I told you to move your fat ass.” I

growled back.

Beck got between us.

“Your just jealous that’s he’s with me

and not you.” she shot back.

“Oh, really? Because for the whole

Spring Break, he was with me.” I smiled
sweetly.

Taylor’s face turned shock and she

looked at Beck.
“Why? Why would you say that?” he
whispered to me as he closed his eyes.

“Sorry,” I whispered back.

“BECK!” Taylor screamed.

“That’s my name.” he sighed.

“You hung out with her?” she shrieked.

“Yes, Taylor. He did.” I smirked.

“How dare you?” she yelled, turning to

me.

“How dare I? You have no right to come

and break up our friendship.” I said back.

“What did you do with her?” she asked

Beck.
Beck was about to open his mouth, but I
beat him to it.

“Oh, the beach, my house, his house, the

movie store, and don’t forget the club.” I
smiled as I named off the places.

“THE CLUB!!??” she screamed.

“It’s not what you think and it didn’t

mean anything.” Beck reassured her.

It finally dawned on me.

Why was I here?

Why was I fighting over Beck?

Why was I asking myself these

questions?
Nothing mattered. Beck was still with
Taylor and you mean nothing to him.

Nothing.

Nothing…

Nothing!

That struck home.

I meant nothing to him?

I grimaced as my stomach started to
churn and my mouth tasted like cotton.

I couldn’t say anything to that.

If everything meant nothing to him then

what to say?
My chest started to heave with short
gasps as I backed away from Beck and
his idiotic girlfriend that continued to
ramble on and on.

I met Beck’s eyes for a second and

drowned in the chestnut gaze.

Maybe this would be the last time I could

talk to him, see him, touch him.

I choked on my dry tongue and bit down

onto it until it started to bleed, yet I felt
no pain, only numbness and the taste of
blood.

Beck continued to look at me with

confused eyes.

I continued to back away until I ran into

the janitor, causing him to spill his mop
water, and resulting on me falling into it,
the mop landing on my head.

All the students turned and looked to

laugh at me.

Beck looked at everyone with wide eyes.

The worst part about was that Beck was

apart of that group. All his friends
nudged him, urging him to snicker at my
clumsiness.

Beck continued to watch me.

I shook my head and pulled the mop off

of me.

Beck started to make his way over,

trying to help me up with his hands. I
declined them and stood on my own as
tears started in my eyes.

He opened his mouth to say something,

but snapped it shut when he saw my
tears.

“A—”

“SHUTUP!!!” I screamed, causing

everyone to stop their laughter and stare
at me.

Beck looked shocked.

“J-Just leave me alone.” I turned away

and raced out of the school, still dripping
wet.

Beck
“Then what is it, Beck? She’s gone
now!” Taylor argued with me.

It was about Alex again.

That seemed to be all we fought about.

Alex.

Alex…

Alex!

“Beck! Are you even listening?” Taylor

screamed at me.

“Are you listening to me?!” I screamed

back.

The thing about it was that I never lost

my cool. I always had a careless
personality, but ever since I met Alex it
turned upside down.

Taylor looked at me with her wide blue

eyes I had fallen in love with three years
ago.

But they weren’t brown!

I groaned and ran my hands through my

straight hair.

Alex wasn’t at school today and I wanted

to see her badly.

“Beck! Get her out of your mind! Spring

Break is over!” Taylor growled.

I grimaced at her and stood up.

“Where are you going?”

“Just get off my FUCKING back!” I
roared then stomped out of the house.

The rest of the week didn’t get any

better.

Alex was still not there and all her

friends just shrugged their shoulders
when I asked.

I became grumpier and grumpier the

entire week.

It was like if Alex wasn’t there, neither

was my personality.

Taylor tried desperately to cheer me up,

but it just escalated to a fight.
On Friday, I had enough.

“YOU WHAT!?” Taylor screamed.

“You heard me. I kissed her.” I sneered.

She sat there for awhile in shock before

she started to scramble up and grab her
stuff.

“Fuck you, Beck!” she screamed as she

headed outside.

“Wait!” I yelled.

She turned to me with hopeful eyes.

I smiled at her.

“You do know this mean we’re over,

right?” I asked.
“You’re such a JERK!” she screamed.

“Wait! Taylor!”

“What!?”

“Do you need a ride home?”

“NOOOOOO!!!!!” she screamed and

fled.

I smiled to myself.

Time to get my woman back.

Alex

“But he doesn’t! He loves Taylor!” I

screamed at my sister, Brenda, as she
patted my back.
I was lying on my bed, clutching at my
pillow, and crying my heart out. And it
didn’t help that Mother Nature’s Gift
visited, if you catch my drift.

“I’m sure he still likes you, Alex.” She

reassured me.

“No he doesn’t! He only loves

Taylor!!!!” I howled as I cried
senselessly.

Brenda sighed and rolled her brown

eyes.

“Okay, look, Alex. I’ve been at this for

45 minutes. Here’s a teen magazine and
a bottle of medicine that I’m not sure
what is,” she threw the things on my bed,
“I’m just going to turn the other way and
whatever happens, happens.” She stood
up and left the room.

I rolled my eyes.

What a great sister.

I sighed and sat up. She was right.

I was wasting tears on Beck.

I shouldn’t. I should never waste my

heart on a guy.

I know that sounds wrong, but it’s what I

think.

I haven’t gone to school in a week.

I could not face all my friend’s worried
stares or Taylor glares or Beck caramel
gaze.

I groaned and went to the bathroom to

wash my face.

I decided some fresh air would help me.

After throwing on a hoodie and some

jeans, I headed outside for a walk.

I made my way down the streets and I

didn’t realize it was getting dark until I
stopped.

What did that tree say?

I squinted my eyes at it and sure enough

there was a giant heart around B&A. I
frowned.
Really?

Maybe it’s just a coincidence.

I kept walking only to see the next few

trees had B&A on them. I rolled my eyes
and huffed.

This was ridiculous.

I frowned when I realized I went far

enough and started to head back home.

Maybe I was crazy.

Suddenly, I was screaming and hands

were around my waist.

I kicked as we rolled down a grassy hill.

“STRANGER DANGER! HEELP!” I
shrieked as I wrestled with the stranger.

“Alex! Stop! It’s me!” the smooth voice

yelled at me as we scooted to a stop.

I frowned and turned to Beck, his arms

still encasing me.

“What the hell is your problem?” I asked

as he brushed the hair out of my eyes.

“You.” He answered simply, looking

deep into my eyes.

I almost smiled at that. Almost.

I pushed him off me and stood up. He

did the same, towering over me with his
lean body.
“What do you want?” I grumbled.

“You.” He answered again with a shrug.

“You can’t have me.” I responded.

“Oh, can’t I?” he raised a brow.

“Wait a sec. You’re the one that was

carving in the trees?” I frowned.

“Guilty as charged.” He shrugged again,

as if he could care less.

“You’re so irritating.” I growled.

“Really? Because a week ago you found

me awesome, A.”

“Well, that was before everything that

happened.”
He grinned.

“Stop grinning. It’s annoying.” I walked

around him.

He followed after me.

“Where’s Taylor?” I asked.

“At home. Probably crying.” He

shrugged.

I turned to him.

“Why would she be crying?”

“Well, I broke up with her.”

“WHAT!?”
“I know.”

“But…”

“I know.”

“B-But.”

“I know.”

“But…Beck…”

“I kn—”

“I know you know!!” I yelled.

He sighed and stepped closer to me.

I suddenly started to cry. His eyes

widened in shock.
Curse my girl probs!

“W-why would you do that? Now

Taylor’s all heartbroken. I didn’t want
this to happen! Why did you buy me the
stupid fro yo anyway? Just kiss me
already Beck!” I grumbled.

He grinned and cupped my cheek.

He started to lean in, but I was too antsy.

I jumped up, meeting his warm lips half
way. He was shocked by the movement,
but leaned in eagerly, parting my mouth
with his tongue and sliding it into my
mouth.

Soon we were out of breath and leaning

our foreheads together.

“We’re still just friends, right?” I teased.

“Not a chance!” Beck grinned.

“A is for…?” I grinned back.

“Alex and Beck.” He smirked.

I playfully slapped his arm.

“Well, this has been one awesome Spring

Break.” Beck smirked as he slapped his
arm over my shoulders.

“Best one I ever had.” And I leaned in

for another kiss.

THE END!!!
