    Jimi Hendrix underwent a right ureteroscopy procedure on July 12, 2010 to treat a 4mm left upper kidney stone. Dr. Mahandru performed the procedure using a long semi-rigid ureteroscope and was able to completely fragment the stone using a laser. A right ureteral stent was placed. The procedure was successful with no complications and Mr. Hendrix was discharged with instructions to follow up in clinic for further treatment if needed.
