Cushaw Pie 2 pre-baked pie crusts 2 ½ cups cushaw cooked and pureed 1 cup sugar ½ cup brown

sugar 1 13 oz. can cream ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon Pinch ground cloves 3 eggs 1 Tbsp. flour ½ tsp. all-spice Mix cushaw, eggs, cream, flour and spices together - blend well. Pour into pie crusts and bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. ************************************************************* ****** Cushaw Bars 2 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 ½ cup sugar 4 eggs 2 cups cushaw cooked and pureed 1 cup oil Sift dry ingredients together. Add slightly beaten eggs, cushaw and oil. Mix together. Bake in a greased and floured 13”x9”pan at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Optional - ice with cream cheese frosting.
