EVOLUTION OF INTERNET
Internet was born on 2 sept 1969 when about 20 people gathered in Kleinrock's lab at the University of California, Los Angeles, to watch as two bulky computers passed meaningless test data through a 15foot gray cable.

In 1972, there is a use of @ sign use of email In 1973 , design of internet was done and published in 1974 The roll out of internet took place in 1983 after ten years of research and hard work The domain name systems was proposed . This was followed by introduction of suffixes .com, .gov, .edu in 1984

The world wide web (www) was developed in 1989 1993: Marc Andreessen and colleagues at University of Illinois create Mosaic, the first Web browser to combine graphics and text on a single page, opening the Web to the world with software that is easy to use. 1994: Andreessen and others on the Mosaic team form a company to develop the first commercial Web browser, Netscape

48% of population ,they don¶t have a knowledge of internet 12% of population know about internet but upto some extent 5% of population need traning for internet 5.5% of population are used internet at home but they said that internet is expensive at home 9% of population used internet in cyber café they agree with security , etc
