Winter Weather Alert

For current and forecast road conditions, check out our new road weather page:
http://commuterlink.utah.gov/RoadWeatherForecast.aspx

The Wednesday morning commute in the lower valleys near the metro areas should be
unaffected, but keep speeds reduced for wet roads and isolated slick spots.

A cold front will pass through the state through the day Wednesday, bringing with it 1-2
hours of road snow accumulation. Travel is expected to be impaired for at least 2
hours. After the main bust of snow, conditions will gradually improve; however, strong
winds will continue to blow snow back onto the roads through the evening.

Motorists are advised to restrict all un-necessary travel where possible. I-15 and I-70
and all roads south and east of Scipio will be affected. St. George area will have wet
roads
