Here are my thoughts. First, we just had a training for a significant portion of our
MFF, as far as the officers are concerned I think they have the formations/actions
down. The "hole" I observed was in the Lt's taking chatge of their MFF, it seems that
in training and in real life, some Lt's and Captains are hesitant to take charge of
their MFF and act "independently" without specific instruction from incident
commander, (I know each MFF part of overall plan but right now command offices
aren't taking charge of their own MFF) I think we would better be served by having
him TEACH a class to commanders, although he may not be familiar with our
policy/ways of doing things. Or have him help our MFF SME teach our commanders
on how to operate. I'm not available on Wed, I have other training to do on the
LRAD.

Commander Hillman (LASD) will be visiting us next week. DC Breshears would
like for us to hold a MFF training on either Tues / Wed where the Commander can
observe / critique. In addition, the Commander will hold a training session with our
Command staff (duration & location TBD).
Thoughts? Can you make this happen? Thank you!
