Executive summary
The purpose of this study is to know the mid day meal scheme in detail, introduced
by the state government With a view to enhancing enrolment, retention and
attendance and simultaneously improving nutritional levels among children,
Encouraging poor children, belonging to disadvantaged sections, to attend school
more regularly and help them concentrate on classroom activities.

CONCLUSIONS
The final result is just, like a coin has two side e.g. head and tail similarly this
scheme is also has good side similarly also has bad side. Good side is it is very
much helpful to increase student’s strength while they are learning in the school
and increase the enrolment and attendance of the students who are below the
poverty line. And the bad side is scams are undertaken this scheme and good
quality of food is not provided to the students and teachers are taking it as a
burden.
