THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Universe:-
Universe is made up of billions of galaxies.
Galaxy:-
Galaxy is made up of billions of stars.
Our solar system is Milky Way which is known as a galaxy, comprises of
a sun and group of celestial objects. That is gravitationally bounded to the sun, there are
99 planets.
Star (Sun):-
It is a celestial object that has its own sources of light is called star (sun).
Our sun contains 99% mass of the solar system. It gives large mass to an internal high
enough to sustain nuclear fission releasing high amount of energy, most of which is
electro magnetic waves including visible light.
The sun is even hydrogen and helium that the estimated average
composition of the universe. Hydrogen is the dominate element in the sun and the helium
is next most abundant. All the other elements from less than 0.1% of the sun mass.
Planet:-
• It is a celestial object which revolved around the sun.
• Conditions any object revolve around the sun.
• It should have enough mass to gate the spherical shape.
• It is not clean to the surrounding.
The sun and most of the planets rotate counter clock wise about their axes
Satellites:-
It is a celestial object revolved around the planet.
• It is revolved around the planet.
• It should have enough mass to gate the spherical shape.
• It is not clean to the surrounding.
Asteroids:-
It is a celestial object which revolved around the sun, which made up of a
very large number of small bodies.
• It should not enough mass, so it not spherical shape.
• Asteroids made up of ice cartels.
• It revolved around the sun in angular orbit with respect to other planets. The radius of
asteroids is less than 400 km.
Comets (Ice Cartels):-
It is a celestial object which revolved around the asteroids.

When the gate close the sun due to increase temperature in the gases by the
process of sublimation forming a tail, when they observed from the earth.

Meteorites:-

1
All the objects that fall upon the earth are called meteorites. They have
not clean by the surrounding. They fall on the earth due to gravitational force. Meteorites
composed mostly of silicate minerals are called stony meteorites.
Structure of solar system:-
• All the planets revolved in elliptical orbit. Which parallel to the equator of the
sun.
• All the planets move around in anti clock wise direction with respect to rotation of
sun along its own axes.
• The planets which close to sun move faster than the planet. Which away from the
sun.
There are two types of planets.

1) Terrestrial planets:-
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
2) Jovian or extra terrestrial planets:
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Jovian planets have incase of hydrogen and helium. They well developed interval
structure.
