Running head: WEEK 6 ASSIGNMENT 1

Week 6 Assignment NAME COM/156 DUE DATE TEACHER

In addition. I am not sure of the specifics of what happened to my father at the hospital but I do know about my wife's grandfathers experience. although. at first I did not. When the time has come." brought the idea that morphine can be used as a drug to keep suffering at bay for people who are nearing the end of their lives to my attention. Marc Siegel. of an article I recently read called “Treating the Pain by Ending a Life. In his essay. Siegel argues that using morphine for this purpose does not constitute overdosing if the goal is to help a patient become relaxed and comfortable whilst dying. Morphine was administered to her grandfather top help him relax and make him comfortable whilst he was dying. Reading this essay has shown me that he would not have suffered because of this. I often accidentally use words that change my sentences to a first or second person point of view and this causes me difficulty. To avoid this I will need to ensure that I use lots of information from the resources I found on the internet and elsewhere. it can be very distressing to see a loved one suffer. I feel like . however. WritePoint sent back the work I submitted and said that it had many problems. I agree with his point of view. my essay will not be very persuasive if all it contains is personal information – this would make the essay a biased one instead of a persuasive one. After reading his essay. At the moment. Marc Siegel persuaded me that it is okay to give morphine to a dying person and that this does not constitute at overdose. I believe that it is unfair to let someone who is dying suffer. Most people have led a good life and do not deserve to suffer before passing away. WritePoint help me avoid this as I am usually unaware I am doing it.WEEK 6 ASSIGNMENT 2 Week 6 Assignment The author. They then gave me good advice on how I could rectify mistakes and improve my essay. and seeing how morphine had helped a woman with cancer live out the remainder of her life in peace I changed my stance in favor of the idea.

continuing to submit it repeatedly to WritePoint so I can weed out every mistake and ensure that when my final paper is sent off I earn a good grade for it. I feel that reading my essay will make readers fully aware of all the harm a credit card can cause and that it will convince them they can go without. I will not include anything that is untrue or disputable or that I can't back up with my resources. I feel that this will help my readers really see that Americans should not take out credit cards. I believe that my essay will successfully persuaded my readers to avoid taking out a credit card. It should be clear to the majority of my readers that my essay is a persuasive one in nature. I don't believe people will mistake my essay for a biased one because I have not simply looked at the issue from my personal perspective: I've tried to look at it from other angles.WEEK 6 ASSIGNMENT 3 my essay does not contain enough information to back up the points I am making. . I understand that some readers may confused the inclusion of my personal problems with credit cards as evidence of bias but I feel my personal experience simply mirrors a common one as shown in the statistics I draw upon within my essay. I will need to go back to the drawing board and really do research to get some high quality information that will support my points in th eyes of my readers. Over the coming weeks I will work as hard as I can on my paper. The strong points that I have found online and included in my essay will really help hit my message home and back up my own opinions with hard facts.
