CITATIONS:


THE LAST FOUR DIGITS OF THE VIN NUMBER ARE REQUIRED ON ALL

CITATIONS. THE 'VNVTW¨ BOX SHOULD BE MARKED ONLY IF THE VIN NUMBER IS

NOT VISIBLE. WHEN THE VIN NUMBER IS NOT VISIBLE, INDICATE WHY -

COVERED, CAN`T READ, UNABLE TO LOCATE, ETC.



TOW INVENTORIES:


THE ENTIRE VIN NUMBER IS REQUIRED ON ALL TOW INVENTORIES. IF THE

VIN NUMBER IS COVERED, NOT VISIBLE, OR UNREADABLE, IT CAN USUALLY BE

LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF THE DOOR OR ON THE DOOR JAM WHEN THE VEHICLE IS

OPENED. IF IT IS A NO ENTRY TOW, WRITE N/V (NOT VISIBLE) ON THE TOW

INVENTORY. FOR MOTORCYCLES, THE VIN NUMBER IS USUALLY ON THE FRONT

FORK OR ON THE ENGINE. IF UNABLE TO LOCATE THE VIN NUMBER, ASK THE TOW

TRUCK DRIVER FOR ASSISTANCE.
