CONCEPT STUDY MODEL

THE VIEW FOUND ON WSU SPOKANE CAMPUS PROVIDES SEVERAL DESIGN .RELATIONSHIPS TH.AT ARE USED TO GUIDE THE DESIGN OF THE .ASSIGNED PLACE. OVERALL LAYOUT OF VIEW EXPRESSES .DYNAMIC MOVEMENT TO THE SPACE. ASYMMETRICAL COMPONENTS OF ROAD LAMPS AND TREES GIVE A SENSE OF SPACE.

IN ADDITION TO IT, THE CLOSEST LAMP .AND L-SHAPE BENCH ADD MORE SENSE OF SPACE IN IT .AND THESE ALSO EMPHASIZE THE Woo HOLE COMPONENTS. SUBTLE .AND SUBDUED ATMOSPHERE CREAT" ED BY AUTUMN RAIN AND ROAD LAMPS ENCOURAGES DREAMLIKE FEELING IN THE SPACE .• DIAGONAL AND GRADUAL LINES DEFINE THE DOMINANT ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR FCiRMS SUCH AS CEILING PLANS AND .ARRANGEMENT OF FUNCTIONAL SPACES.

DYNAMIC FEATURE IN THE SPACE WILL BE PROVIDED BY EMPHASIZINGSPECIF'IC AREA OF THE PLACE. IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH ORE"

A.MLIKE ATMOSPHERE IN THE SPACE, THE COLOR SCHEME OF' FURNITURE, WALL PAINTING FLOOR AND CEILING WILL BE CAREFULLY CONSIDERED. MATERIALS WILL ALSO BE CHOSEN FOR THEIR APPROPRIATENESS, INCORPORATING A VARIETY OF TEXTURE AND co-

LOR WHICH REFLECT THE CLEAN CAMPUS AFTER RAIN.
