Kesar Badam Biscuit


Ingredients Maida - 1 and 1/4 cup Butter - 1/2 cup (50 gms) Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup Baking powder - 1/4 tsp. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp. Almonds - few, chopped Saffron strands - few Nutmeg powder - 1/4 tsp. Sugar candies (misri dana) - few Milk if necessary Preparation

Mix maida and baking powder. Keep aside. Beat together powdered sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add maida-baking powder mixture and form a dough. use milk if necessary. Add saffron strands and form roundels and flatten with your palm. Place chopped almonds and sugar candies on each roundel. Arrange cookies on a greased tray keeping space in between each cookie. Preheat oven to 200 degrees centigrade and bake for 15 minutes.
