 Established on November 3, 1967 as a
Multi-unit co-operative society.

cooperative societies in 1967-68
 IFFCO has blossomed into Globe’s largest
fertilizer cooperative with a sizeable
membership of 37,500 cooperative
societies

 Social security is the protection given
by society to members against
contingencies of modern life such as
sickness , unemployment , old age ,
invalidity , industrial accidents etc.
 The security measures are generally
specified by law .
 The social security measures contribute
to industrial development

are provided with such services and
they also feel committed to the
organization .

Objectives Of Research
 To analyze the existing social welfare
security system in IFFCO, Lucknow.
To analyze the role of social security
and welfare schemes in the overall
development of employees.
To suggest improvement in the
existing social security and welfare
scheme.
METHODOLOGY
 The Data is collected from100 employees:
 Method Of Collection: Primary and
secondary data
 Research Design: Descriptive
 Sampling Method: Simple Random
Sampling.
Primary Sources-
 The researcher interacted firstly with the
superiors or the employer and then with
the subordinate or the employee
separately.
 Questionnaire was handed over to the
employees to know their views about the
social security and the welfare schemes .
 Through telephonic interviews with the ex-
employees

the people in the form of questionnaire ,
according to which several findings are
found .which are represented by the chart.

Findings
 On the bases of analysis we find that
majority of employees are satisfied with
the social security measures in their
organization
 Some employees feel that their should be
some more flexibility in the measures of
social security & labour welfare.
Suggestion
 Certain other provisions towards the
benefit and security of employees can be
added.

 After retirement there should be provision


for ‘medical benefit’
Limitations
 One of the main limitation was the
shortage of time.
 The employee show minimum interest in
filling the questionnaire .
 Sample size of 100 employee could be
taken so it my not represent exact data .
 Accuracy of research is totally based on
response of employee.
