Tips for Using the GT Xpress 1O1®
Please read all instructions in the manual that came with your unit before using. Allow the unit to preheat before adding ingredients, unless otherwise indicated in the recipe. After the unit is plugged into a standard outlet, preheating time is 2 to 3 minutes. The ready light will go out when the unit is preheated.

Pork and Potato Croquettes

Cook Time: 1 2 minutes

For best results and browning, make sure meat, poultry or fish is at room temperature and very dry before adding to the well. Blot with a paper towel if necessary.
From time to time, you may wish to re-season the cooking wells, especially if you experience sticking problems. Refer to page 4 of the manual that came with your GT Xpress 101. Some foods, especially those with a high sugar or low fat content, may require the use of a light coating of no stick cooking spray on both the top and the bottom surfaces of the cooking wells. To avoid damage to the non stick surface, use only plastic, nylon, wood or specially designed utensils for non See pg 12 for Crescent Beef Bites’ recipe stick coatings. Avoid using metal or sharp objects Do not immerse the unit in water or hold under running water. Should you have build-up or cooked-on food, unplug the unit and carefully pour 1 to 2 Tablespoons of water into each well. Close the cover and wait until the unit is completely cool. Using a sponge or absorbent cloth, soak up the water and wipe the unit clean. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the non stick or exterior surfaces, as they may cause damage.

1. Mash cooked potato and set aside 2. Heat butter in skillet and sauté onion and mushroom with salt and pepper until tender, about 5 minutes 3. In bowl place about 1/4 of onion, mushroom mixture and using paring knife and fork chop into small pieces 4. Add pork and potato and mix well 5. Form into 2 balls 6. Pepperoni Calzones

loaf frozen bread dough, thawed ounces softened cream cheese ounces shredded mozzarella cheese ounces sliced pepperoni green onion, chopped clove garlic, minced teaspoon dried thyme

It’s as American as apple pie. It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit daring. It’s cinnamon, and it’s probably sitting right there in your pantry.

Fib Wrapped Apple Pie
Serves: 2 Cook 10 1 1 butter flavor no stick spray powdered sugar teaspoon cinnamon can apple pie filling sheets frozen fib dough, thawed Time: 8-10 minutes

1. layer 5 fib sheets on flat surface one at a time, spraying lightly between each sheet with butter flavor no stick spray Note: do not spray top of last sheet 2. While apples are still in can, pass a sharp knife through them repeatedly to cut into smaller chunks 3. Pile about 1/2 cup apples in lower right quadrant of dough, sprinkle with cinnamon, fold lower right corner of dough up over apple, then fold in the two side and roll up, forming a package about 4 inches wide and 4 inches thick 4. Repeat with remaining 5 sheets of fib and apples 5. Preheat GT Xpress 101 lightly spray with no stick spray and place 1 pie in each well 6. Serves: 4 1 1 1/2 4 1 1 cup cooked ground beef tablespoon dried onion flakes teaspoon garlic salt mushrooms, finely chopped cup softened cream cheese can refrigerator crescent rolls Cook Time: 10 minutes

1. Preheat GT Xpress 101 and spray with no stick spray 2. Separate crescents into 4 squares on cutting board, sealing triangle perforations by pressing with fingers 3. Stir all other ingredients together until smooth and divide between 4 squares, spreading to within 1 /2 inch of edges 4. Roll like a jelly roll and place 1, seam side down, in each well, lightly sprayed with no stick spray 5. Close lid and bake 10 minutes, turning 1/4 turn after 6 minutes to brown 6. Repeat with other 2 rolls 7. Slice into 4 or 5 diagonal slices and serve as hot appetizer

Sausage Corn Muffins

1. Combine sausage, beef, fennel, salt and pepper in a skillet and cook until meat is browned and crumbly- about 10 minutes 2. Drain if necessary and cool slightly 3. Remove dough from can and press out on flat oiled surface into 8 by 1 2 rectangle 4. Spread meat over dough to within 1 inch of edges, sprinkle cheese over meat and roll up from long edge like a jelly roll 5. When finished, roll should be 12 inches long 6. Brush with any remaining olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and cut into 4 equal sections, pressing ends together slightly to seal 7. Preheat GT Xpress 101 8. Spray with no stick spray 9. Place 1 section in each well, close cover 10. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until brown, rolling 1/4 turn after 5 minutes to promote even browning and repeat with last 2 sections

Italian Chicken Rolls
Serves: 2 2 1 1 1/4 1 1/4 1 /2 2 1. Pound each breast until about 1/4 inch thick 2. Layer 1/2 cheese slice and prosciutto on chicken and roll to encase filling 3. Mix remaining ingredients except butter in shallow dish, dip each chicken roll in butter and then in crumbs to coat 4. Place seam side down in preheated GT Xpress 101, sprayed with no stick spray 5. Close cover 6. Cherry Cola Cake

Cook Time: 7 minutes

cup chocolate cake mix, dry cup diet cherry cola or regular cup chopped Maraschino cherries whole cherries for garnish whipped cream

1. Preheat GT Xpress 101 and spray with no stick spray 2. Mix cake mix and cola until blended and pour about 1/4 of mixture into bottom of each well 3. Distribute 1/2 of cherries evenly over cake mix in each well, cover with remaining cake batter, close cover 4. Cook 7 minutes 5. Serve warm with whipped cream and top with whole cherry

Crispy Potato Chicken
Serves: 4 2 1/2 1 1 1/2

Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes

Hot Dog Wraps
Serves: 4 1 4 1. 2. 3. 4. Cook Time: 8 minutes package canned crescent rolls (4) wieners Preheat GT Xpress 101 and spray with no stick spray Separate crescents into 4 squares and wrap each around a hot dog Cook 2 at a time for 8 minutes Serve with mustard or catsup for dipping

4-5 ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with teaspoon seasoned salt medium potato, peeled and shredded teaspoon olive oil salt, pepper and garlic powder teaspoon dried parsley flakes

1. In small bowl mix shredded potato with seasonings and olive oil 2. Preheat GT Xpress 101 and spray welts with no stick spray 3. Place small amount of potato mixture in each well, top with seasoned chicken, then place half of remaining potato on top of chicken, spreading to cover evenly 4. Close cover and cook 12 to 15 minutes, until potato topping is crisp and chicken is done

This pasta recipe makes a simple and satisfying dish for the whole family. You can keep it basic for the kids, and then add some garlic salt, Italian seasoning and a little Parmesan cheese to top it off for the grownups Stuffed Italian Shells
Serves: 4 6 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 1/2 1 1/2 large shell pasta, boiled and drained cup cooked ground beef handful spinach leaves, finely chopped cup ricotta cheese teaspoon Italian seasoning teaspoon garlic salt small zucchini, sliced cup marinara sauce Parmesan cheese Cook Time: 10 minutes

1. Preheat GT Xpress 101 2. Mix together ground beef, spinach1 ricotta, and seasonings 3. Divide into 6 shells 4. Spray wells with no stick spray 5. Put layer of sliced zucchini in base of each well and place 3 shells on top of zucchini 6. Close and cook 10 minutes 7. To serve cover with heated marinara and Parmesan cheese 8. Serve with garlic bread and tossed salad
