Messersmith plans on attending the University of Phoenix to gain his associates in criminal justice. Now that you have some information about the interviewee I will begin the interview process since I now have the interviewees permission prepared . My response: I have to say that I am the same as John. The person I have chosen to interview is my husband.

o Does the interviewee remember information more accurately if he or she
observes the behavior being performed or does he or she prefer to read how the behavior is performed? John’s response: According to John he remembers information more accurately if he personally observes the behavior being performed. I have a hard time remembering anything that I read so watching if happen would help when trying to remember information at a later time.B. Mr. Mr. John Galen Messersmith. My response: I know I personally prefer to study at home in my own environment where I know where everything is at and where I can somewhat control the noise level and distractions. Both me and myself prefer to stay home and study in our own environment. o Does the interviewee prefer studying in a library. o Does the interviewee think these results are accurate? Why or why not? Neither my husband or myself have taken this test so there are no results to determine if they are false or accurate. I think it would be even more distracting for me if I was in a quite library I have honestly found that I can not study in too quite of an environment. John’s response: My husband has never taken the Myers Briggs test therefore there are no result to report. or at home where there are
background noises and some distractions? John’s response: My husband is currently not taking any classes where he would have to study but he stated that if he had to study he would prefer to be at home instead of a quite library. o results.3
Both me and my husband are auditory and visual learners so I feel this has something to do with our responses. this is not to say that he has never slipped up and not been able to control his self but most of the time he know how to keep his self in check even in very stressful situations. When my husband was growing up he and his cousins were pretty much raised by is grandmother while there parents worked so he was always around his family.4
John’s response: My husband feels the experience of being raised by his grandmother is what contributed to the development of his current personality. He feels that if he did not have this connection with his family that he would be a completely different person. As I stated above about my husband personality when my husband was growing
. My response: I have to say that I am not as good about self-monitoring myself as my husband is. My response: I have to say I honestly believe that the experience of raising myself and my younger sister is what contributed to my current personality. I do have to say on my husbands behave that in the seven years that we have been together he has really been able to clam me down and help me to self. Having to grow up at such a young age and not really being able to experience a true childhood has really shaped me. My husband is one of those people that know what goes around comes around. o What does the interviewee feel was the strongest influence on his or her attitudes? attitudes? How or how not? John’s response: My husband feels that he is self-monitoring of his attitude. However I honestly do try to keep myself under control I am sometimes just too much of a hot head.

When I was growing up my mother worked all the time (she was a single mother of two) which left me and my sister alone a lot. I think there personality and/ or attitude has a lot to do with the environment they are raised in that makes you the people we are. gender. gender and/ or ethnicity plays a role in a persons current personality and/ or attitude. I have friends of all different races and genders and they all act the same but this is because the people they were raised with are of all nationalities also. He feels that if he did not have this connection with his family that he would be a completely different person. Since we were always alone I ended up raising my little sister to the best of my ability. We were also pretty much able to run around and do what ever we wanted due to the fact that we had no adult supervision. gender.

when forming that person’s personality and attitudes? John’s response: My husband does not think that a person race. My response: I do not think that a persons background race. My husband believes that it has everything to due with how and person is raised and how much there family plays a role in there everyday lives. My response: I have to say the my strongest influence on my attitude is completely different than my husbands.
Does this person feel he or she is better at tasks when intrinsically
motivated or extrinsically motivated? John’s response: My husband feels that he is better at tasks when extrinsically motivated. He really likes receiving a reward for working hard such as a raise or tip.
. My response: I honestly feel like I am better at task when intrinsically motivated. I feel that they honestly feel no need to work hard or even do anything if they are not going to be rewarded for there work. I am considering this my statement that I give my wife Sarah Messersmith permission to interview me for her final project. These questions just show me that even a married couple that have been together for many years can have different views even after years of influencing each others opinions.

In conclusion these questions were really eye opening to how me and my husband relate and differ. In fact this whole course has really been eye opening for me in showing how I truly view others.
