Raven's Land The raven has been a personal symbol for me and my exploration into myself.

Ravens are a symbol of death and the exploration of the unknown in many cultures and are both feared and admired for their supernatural powers. These birds are revered as messengers from other realms and their word is to be respected. In Raven's Land I used an image of myself amongst three raven's. Each raven represents something within myself- Exploration, Questioning and the Things I will Never Understand. However, despite the overwhelming “not knowing” I keep a serene look upon my face as if to submit my very person to those thing I don't understand. Rather than living against them, I choose instead to become a part of them.
