THE ALLIENS MYTH

Among the contemporary errors related to cosmology and creation, we find, in addition to
heliocentrism and evolution, the myth of extraterrestrial life.
Since the 16th century when in the West appeared the heliocentrist theory and the earth became a
planet like any other, that rotates around the sun, in the so-called "solar system", it was opened a door
of heresies that could not be stopped. Namely, it was the idea of infinity of the universe and of several
worlds, or universes, solar systems (N. Cusanus and G. Bruno), which abolished the idea of a center of
the universe and the oneness of life on earth. These poisoned ideas as "the tares" from Scripture
showed fully their fruits in the twentieth century when, after 1945, was launched on the market, first as
a possibility, the "Science Fiction" genre and then, as a clear possibility, at least mathematically, the
idea of extraterrestrial life, of a civilization far superior to us, which is moving at fantastic speeds in so-
called flying saucers. Aliens may take various contacts with human beings classified by their degree of
closeness and involvement. We chose not to describe this phenomenon, which, since 1990 has received
intense media coverage, being a typical phenomenon of the "transitional period" that is, in fact, a
transition from a traditional Christian society to the new age-globalism as forerunner of a single state
and religion of the Antichrist.
The UFO myth is a manifestation of post-darwinian neo-evolutionism. Since the problem of life
origin and evolution of species, as was exposed by darwinist evolutionists, raised insurmountable
problems, resulting in the current impasse, in the years 1950-1960 have occurred the displacement of
the problem by introducing the equation of extraterrestrial beings. This atheist model does not solve at
all the conflict with revelation, but we would say that it deepens it. Since contemporary science shows
obvious tendency to be converted by merging with SF, it follows that by such assumptions even

science itself is moving away from Christian revelation, instead of approaching, as it deems enthusiasts
rush of both sides.
In the new age movement is manifested the interest in paranormal phenomena, parapsychology,
and UFOs. If before 1990 they were virtually excluded from serious scientific official, being prevented
from spreading their message and send to sector, "mysticism, obscurantism, superstitions," today things
have changed dramatically. This change observed in our country1follows the change occurred in the
centers of power: Moscow failed, at least temporarily, in favour of the U.S.A. If by 1990 the
positivistic and materialistic science ignored and did not accept the field, "supernatural", super
sensorial, today, by so-called branch of paranormal phenomena fall under the description of research
and scientific discourse type. Testimony to this is among other the satellite TV channel Discovery
channel, a brand with prestige and authority in the field. In recent years this channel that is received
relatively easy in our cities too because of cable TV shows 2-3 times per week programs held scientific
claims about UFOs, unexplained mysteries, paranormal, astrology, poltergeist, life after life, etc. These
puzzles are not simply ignored like in the past, but are addressed by the scientistic positions.

Thus, in the 90s in the UFO controversy realm occurred imperceptibly the transition from SF to
serious scientific research. Reports are proliferating; witnesses are among the military or police
officials, the evidence seems to become more convincing. Unlike the Romanian TV stations, at
Discovery does not appear practically ever any Orthodox priests and theologians who could fight these
hypotheses. In fact, whether it's UFOs, aliens, reincarnation and spiritism, in all these cases, no
explanation is objective and absolute, but relative and subjective interpretations of what they claim to
explain. The same thing happened in fact in other cases too, such as darwinism.
By placing themselves deliberately outside the divine revelation kept and transmitted by the
Church, the scholars are erring like the sadducees "not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God"
(Matthew 22:29), and taking after them in these errors gullible and ignorant crowds.
It have to be emphasized, despite speculations of modern science, the unique nature of the seen
cosmos (physical, three-dimensional): uni-verse, not multi-verse.

The first article of the creed states: "... the Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible
and invisible." If one takes into account the physical (visible), we believe, confess and preach the
oneness of the seen universe (cosmos). Today we talk about parallel universes, black holes and anti-
matter that could pass from one universe to another, multi-dimensional universes, simple scientifically
unsubstantiated speculation, not to mention theological.
Extrapolating, of course, nothing entitles us to scriptural assume the existence of other worlds,
possibly inhabited by other beings with superior intelligence to us. From here until the new UFO
mythology is only one step, which theologically we can not accept in any case, even as a working
hypothesis. This method of scientific inquiry in theology is very dangerous and can lead to serious
heresies, as the scholar Origen was the case, sentenced to two ecumenical councils, despite recent
attempts to "rehabilitate" him, some coming, surprisingly, even from the Orthodox theological space.
At the beginning of last century, the athonit schema monks Theophylact and Arsenios have
taken a strong stance against alien speculation that already emerged:
"For behold, when astronomers, until now, forged a spooky path toward planet Mars, which
they maintain that is inhabited by people, and from which the devils deluded them to receive
radiograms, suddenly jumps in the road the famous Swedish astronomer Svante Arrhenius and claims
that Mars lacks oxygen and therefore can not be inhabited, but only planet Venus could be propitious
for vegetal and animal life.
Not to mention that earlier astronomers babbled that the planet Saturn is inhabited too, and that
a man of 2 years of Saturn is 58 years of ours, and that Saturn is 100 times heavier than our earth and
888 times as big!
Wow, wow, wow! What kind of scientist could be that one that weighs the whole earth and all
the planets in heavens!
Look what satanic lies of the distorted philosophers mind, and, for some of this kind, called
insane, who are crazy enough to measure distances between planets, the Lord said:
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (Matthew 24:24). (The Pricks of
Holy Eastern Church ...)
The seen creation is consistent and has seen the earth as the center. The honour and the primacy
of its existence are given to it just by the single existence of life here. And the value of life is given by
man - the crown of the seen creation, created after the image of God. Finally, it must be emphasized the
value of the man who picked him up even higher than the angels themselves - something accomplished
by Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. As man, Christ the Saviour deigned to be incarnate on this Earth,
not on another planet or in another solar system, bringing the unique sacrifice on Calvary for the
salvation of all creation. For by Him was fulfilled man's purpose, as was wanted from the beginning by
God: king, priest and prophet of (seen) creation...
The human value, as link between Creator and creation, must be maintained against the
scientist's myth of "extraterrestrial civilizations far superior to man." The Man remains the crown of
creation, not only in earthly terms, or even in the seen creation (the physical universe), but surpasses
even the invisible beings, spiritual, i.e. he is the crown of all creation visible and invisible! The basis of
this bold claim is the Axion, "is truly right", in which the Mother of the Lord, the Virgin Mary, is called
"more honorable than the cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the seraphim." We
insisted on such matters because it can not be neglected the danger of subversive inoculation through
media channels, of the new scientistic versions of cosmology and anthropology. We saw this happened
before, in the materialistic period, when generations were indoctrinated with darwinian evolutionism,
whose traces have not faded even today.
But for those who have no calling and patience to pursue scientific programs, there is a lot of
literature, even local, which has seen a notable success in the early '90s.

A plausible explanation for the whole UFO mythology would be also this: the aim for creation
of the seen universe is life. The scriptural- patristic cosmogony and cosmology shows clearly this and
has never treated these cosmic processes as something dead. On the contrary, the heretic-atheist kind of
astronomy and astrophysics shown to be entirely devoid of life, therefore leading to the response:
evolutionary space biophysics, in which were issued hypothesis as panspermia, extraterrestrial life, etc.
We recall that these assumptions have their roots in philosophical speculation of the heretic Giordano
Bruno's: multiple universes inhabited.

If we add to these the unseen work, "the spiritual in high places" (Ephesians 6:12) 2 it becomes
clear that this is a truly spiritual attack that endangers salvation. This attack takes place nowadays
becoming more visible on media channels, visual media, the printed and virtual. The school has
remained far behind the contact and their impact on information, training, literacy, education, etc. The
tendency (trend) you see in this problem we are dealing with, is to be officially accredited as syllabus
law, the possibility of extraterrestrial life and civilization. We'll see soon if so.
