1.1 Statement of the problem

This research is designed to determine how far UPSI student have interpersonal

communication in teamwork. As we know, most assignments in UPSI use to be in

grouping. So, this research also wants to determine how they use interpersonal

communication in their group. This research is to carry out the survey of FPE student

in Semester 5 on how they cooperate with their group members to make sure they

finish their assignments successfully.

1.2 objective of the study

i) to determine the style of communication in interpersonal communication

ii) to identify the barriers in interpersonal communication

iii) to identify the way to encourage interpersonal communication
